Humming Tis The Season under your breath, you skip down the hallway with a broad smile on your face. Your parents were going away for Christmas and you had the house to yourself, but you weren't worried. No, of course not. Your best friend, Eyeless Jack, was going to be spending the holiday with you until your parents got back. That may seem a little odd, but you and Jack were actually fairly close. Sure, you still hadn't seen his face—he was afraid he'd scare you off—but other then that, you two knew basically everything about each other.

Cliché, right?

Your head bobs back and forth on your shoulders while you chuckle slightly, bouncing along the hallway before you turn to head into the living room.

However, you come to an abrupt stop when you nearly collide with EJ. "Oh. Hey, Jacky!" You say nonchalantly, putting another bright smile on your face before you step around him and quickly over to the tree, pulling the final ornament you couldn't find earlier this month from your pocket.

"Need some help?" EJ offers, stepping up behind you before you grin, shrugging. Almost as if you weighed nothing, he wraps his arm around your waist and lifts you off the floor a little. Since you were so short, you occasionally needed help with getting things from higher up or putting things up and out of reach.

You hook the final ornament over the tree branch, catching a whiff of pine tree. EJ sat you down again, and you grin brightly before reaching over and flipping the light switch on the wall off.

The lights on the tree light up bright red, blue, green, pink, and even yellow before you grin even brighter and give an excited clap.

Christmas had always been your favorite holiday since you were a little boy/girl. Sure, you loved Halloween and Thanksgiving, but Christmas had always been packed/nearly empty for your family with it being rather large/small and all. You enjoyed having the company; especially with your large/small group of friends over, which hadn't included EJ until just recently.

A tap on your shoulder brings you out of your thoughts. "You dazed out again." EJ explains, and you giggle softly before nodding.

"Sorry." You say with a shrug, but he shakes his head dismissively.

"Don't apologize, I know how you get." He chuckles, and you grin before nodding and slipping away from him, hurrying to turn the ceiling fan light off.

You turn around and cross your arms over your chest, casually stroking your chin. "Hm..." You say slowly, earning a quite mumble of 'oh no' from EJ as he laughed, dipping his chin before stepping out of the way.

Suddenly, you light up and snap your fingers before darting out of the room and snatching a pack of candy-canes. You hurry back into the living room and open the box before EJ laughs. "I'll never understand putting candy-canes on the tree." He points out.

You look up with a blank expression on your face. "Oh, I got these for us." You say, and he tilts his head. You raise an eyebrow at this before sitting the box down on the coffee table. "Don't tell me you've never eaten a candy-cane before!" You gasp, eyes widening.

"Y/N, I'm a CreepyPasta. Of course I've never eaten a candy-cane before. And if I have, I don't even remember." He says slowly, and you frown before giving a slight nod.

"Good point." You mumble, then reach up and stroke your chin in thought, mimicking what a friend of yours often did. You quickly sit down and pull a candy-cane from the box, pointing at the seat beside you. "Try one." You tell him as he sits down, seemingly raising an eyebrow. You then hold the candy-cane over to him.
