Chapter 3:
Zayn instructed the class to find the hidden meaning behind the poem. As his class began to work, he shifted his attention to his new student who was looking at the board, trying to work out the meaning. Her eyes crept slowly to him but they fell as soon as they met the brown ones. This kept repeating like cat and mouse chase until Perrie eventually decided to finish and get to work.
Zayn was mesmerized at her sight, wanting her to look up again so he could drown once more. Unfortunately the blonde beauty had stopped looking up and was concentrating on the poem now. He noticied Tom talking to her and his stares on her thorughout the lesson. Zayn felt his fingers dig into his hands at the sight of Tom's eyes fixed on Perrie.
"Miss Edwards!" Perrie's heart jumped a beat at the sound of the pleasant, sweet voice.
"Yes Mr Malik?"
"Can you swap seats with Jesy Nelson please."
"Oh. Yeah... Yeah of course."
"But why Mr Malik!?" argued Jesy who dreaded Tom the most.
"Er... Because... Because you have been chatting far too much with your partner Jade and I don't want either of you to get distracted."
"But we was only talking about the poem!" Jesy argued further.
"Jesy." Zayn gave her the look which no one could deny. Perrie and Jesy exchanged seats soon after.
"Thank God it's you and not Tom!" Jade breathed a sigh of relief.
"I can hear you mate!" Tom snapped back.
"Oh God! He stinks! Perrie how did you stand this!?" Jesy complained.
"Oi! Mind your tongue! Tom defended himself.
"I have no sense of smell haha!" Perrie laughed.
"Really! That's a bit weird. Well whatever, I hate this seat! I was right in front of Mr Malik before. And look now where I have landed myself." Jesy said giving dirty looks to Tom who stuck his tongue out at her.
"Perrie do you have any idea about this poem because I am completely lost!" asked Jade.
"Yes it's pretty obvious now that I realise. It's about getting lost in a deep blue eye."
