Chapter 2

I walked down the hall looking for my friends.

Kayli, she is just my best friend in the whole world! I love her to the moon and back. She is always there for me even when I don't need her.

Lylah, she's so nice.

She is an amazing friend to all of us. She is so kind and down to Earth.

All of us in our group just want her to be happy. She deserves it.

Zac, he's hilarious!

He always makes us laugh. He is such a drama queen too.

He has a crush on the whole football team it seems like and we tease him because he never makes a move.

But we all know the obvious reason is because he's gay and there is a 95% chance that every guy on the football team is straight, but we would never say that to him.

And lastly Jay, her real name is Jasmine but she hates it as much as she hates the rain so we never use anything but Jay.

She's kind of a tomboy but she is the flirtiest one of us all. She loves her some cute boys.

I finally found Kayli by the water fountain checking her phone.

We aren't aloud to have our phones out on school grounds but nobody follows that rule. Especially not Kayli.

I snuck up from behind her and thought up my best teacher voice and said,

"Excuse me miss but I will have to confiscate that."

She immediately put her phone in her pocket and started to say,

"I don't have a phone. Nope, I was just fiddling my thumb-"

then she realized it was me.

"Carrie!?! You made me almost have a heart attack! If I get my phone taken up again my mom said she would take it away for good and I can't live without it!" she squealed after tackling me with a bear hug for messing with her.

I don't blame her for being nervous about her phone though because her mom can be a bit strict.

We walked down the hallway as I looked for the rest of the gang.

"Where are they?" I asked Kayli.

"I'm not sure. I heard Zac talking about making posters for the football team during Free Rec Hour. Lylah and Jay could have gone with them." Kayli responded.

"Oh well that's good! Maybe I can meet up with Daniel when we get there." I said excitedly.

Yeah I have a boyfriend. I'm not a complete stick in the mud.

"If he ever hurts you, I would totally kick his ass you know that right?" Kayli questioned seriously.

She didn't like Daniel for some reason. She said she got a weird vibe from him or something.

"Yeah I know, I know." I laughed quietly so I wouldn't draw attention to myself.

****A/N: This chapter was boring but it will get better! More to come!. (My other chapters get a lot longer after chapter 3)
