Lucy Heartfilia "The Celestial Ranger"

Prologue

Water splashed as a mid-sized female stepped in puddles, she looked up to rain that plummeted down, she walked the streets of Magnolia, which normally seemed filled with people. A sniffle was heard. The girl stopped in her tracks, and peered into the alley on which the sniffle was heard. She walked toward the sound and found a girl, blonde hair and brown eyes in a pink sundresses, crying with tears brimming in her eyes

"Go away!" The little girl said scrunching her legs to her body as her cold back fell on the wall scared. The older one took her hood of revealing purple hair, accompanied by blue vibrant eyes

"It's okay" she said taking her hood off "I'm Celeste" she stretched her arm out

"I-I'm Lucy" said little girl, she hesitated to shake Celeste's hand

"Why were you crying?" Celeste asked

"My parents..." Lucy started, before spilling with tears, unable to finish her sentence before bursting in tears again

"It's okay" Celeste comforted

"No it's not" Lucy corrected "Now I'm alone"

"You want to spend time with me? I'm alone too" Celeste asked. Lucy nodded

Over time Lucy grew a bond with Celeste but as time grew Celeste ran out out of food and struggled to give food to young Lucy. Celeste looked for a family to give to her. She wished she could teach her the magic she had intended. But she would not starve her to do so.

"Lucy!" Celeste called. As Celeste called her name Lucy ran towards her mentor and foster parent.

"Uhmm how do I put this?" Celeste paused "Your a growing girl... And I can't feed you, I don't need to eat even though it feels nice. I'm-I-I'm giving you to a family you can feed you..."

Lucy teared up, yet tried to smile, "I understand, W-who are you giving me to?"

"Layla and Jude Heartfilia" Celeste explained, "They lost there daughter at birth six years ago, your six so I thought they would... Be... The best for you" Lucy nodded trying to hide tears.

Celeste and Lucy didn't talk much on the way to the Heartfilia residence. As the two arrived Lucy looked in awe of the palace looking mansion. Celeste had a straight face and pressed the entry button

"Hello? Who might be at the door" The maid asked through the speaker

"Celeste Jiyer with the Madame and master's new daughter, Lucy"

"Ahh unfortunately Master doesn't want you to enter, say your goodbyes her new mother is waiting by the entrance" the maid explained. As Celeste turned around Lucy smiled yet teared up, she was leaving someone who taught her.... Everything

"don't worry" Celeste said, making Lucy look up "The starts say we'll meet again, we both know they don't lie" Celeste smiled as Lucy left her smile faded as Lucy met up with Layla Heartfilia.

Lucy loved her parents, they were always there for you, however with caused Lucy to not know how to handle herself alone and other things to, but she was a strong celestial wizard with a great destiny, but things weren't always this way. Few years later her mother, Layla Heartfilia died, bringing all the joy away from her father, Jude Heartfilia.

The mansion was never the same, when Lucy entered from the garden there was no longer maids scrambling to do there job, most lights would be turned off and poor Lucy would have meals alone while her father moped. However Lucy may have been sad she also realized this was a chance to sneak out and learn if the world.

She walked the empty hallways to the maids quarters, she put her hand on one of there shoulder, she was specific with who it was. The maid turned around and beamed, "Lucy~Sama!" Lucy smiled and gestures her head to follow her, when out of sight (which was quite easy considering the mansion's state after Layla's death)

"Does Lucy~Sama require aid?"

"Yes Eleuthera now that mom died, this may be my only chance to learn about the world" Lucy said. Eleuthera pondered this, she wasn't surprised Lucy never was allowed to go outside the gates, it was only inevitable that young Lucy would want to explore the world

"But how do I fit into this?" Said Eleuthera

"I need you to grant me access back in without telling father it's me" Lucy stated. Eleuthera nodded as Lucy exited through the roof window as she strolled the town she learned about the hot spots in town, excellent clothing stored however there was one place Lucy wanted to see, one of the guilds, Fairy Tail.

As escaping the gates daily became Lucy learned more about Fairy Tail, however the stuff she really wanted to know was hidden where she'd never see it. She'd have to join, but she could never leave her father in the state he was in. As her father became more distant then ever Lucy was given a few silver keys as well as Aquarius's key. Lucy also found somewhere in town to practice her magic. It even fitted her schedule perfectly.

The day came, Lucy was sick of having meals alone, her world seemed... Empty. She was going to enter Fairy Tail. She packed her bag, some clothes, a few books, paper, pen and pencils and a few other things. She put her hair in a side ponytail with a pink waist-length shirt and black leggings, she put sandals on her feet. Lucy escaped her house glancing at it one more time before heading to Fairy Tail. As Lucy stepped up to the gate she looked at it. She felt, nervous, scared and worried

"Who are you?" Someone said behind her. Lucy yelped before swinging herself around to face the girl around her. She has long red hair in a braid with an eyepatch. "I said who are you!?"

"L-Lucy miss" she responded "I was just looking at the guild, y-yes that's it, just looking" Lucy mentally facepalms for had saying something so stupid.

"Right" She said suspiciously "names Erza" Lucy and Erza quietly walked away and Lucy had bought an apartment. Another day, she thought. Years passed as Lucy never returned to the Heartfilia mansion. She had been reading about the idol Mirajane. She encountered a pinkette staring at the Salamander. Lucy knew to keep her calm or the rings effects would, yeah

I'm ending it here. Chapter one will take place few years later, after Lucy makes it into the guild. The end of the prologue you should know because it's the course of the first episode! Now! Bye!
