Awkward silence filled the room as his eyes bored into mine.
"Uh, um... Ahaha, that was awkward wasn't it... Hehe, I take it back?" I said, panicking.
"What? Don't take it back. I think i like you too." He said quietly.
My jaw dropped.
"Really?" I squeaked? Then i cleared my throat.
"I think you must have misunderstood. I said that I like you MORE than a friend. Or a cousin. Or a way cousins should like eachother."
I was still blabbering when he leaned in. Closer and closer.
His breath was hot on my face when he whispered,"I like you like that too."
I giggled. That's right. ME. I giggled -.-
Then i pressed my lips on his. Not a make out session, but a soft peck.
"So you're definatley not interested in Billie?"
"Why would I? When i have someone much better right in front of me."
I think I melted.
Pizza came later and we spent the night talking about our favourite things. We didn't have that much in common, but what the hey, oppisites attract right?
The next morning i woke up smelling bacon and cheese.
By my dresser was a plate of food and a little note.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Gone to school, I have football practice.

My mouth watered and I pigged out.
This morning I wanted to look extra hot.
Just because I know how he feels about me so I put on a lacy camisole and dark wash jeans with a pair of flats.
On my way out, i grabbed my reflective aviators.
When I got to school, Eric found me and pulled me in for a hug.
"Did you like you're breakfast?"He asked, with that crooked smile.
"I loved it." I pulled him to a corner and softly kissed his lips.
We looked around to see if anyone saw.
"No acting like a couple around school. Deal?" I asked.
He laughed " Of course!"
Eric walked me to gym class and Billie appeared out of nowhere.
"Heey Eric!" She squealed.
"Hi."
"What are you doing this Saturday? I'm throwing a party." She asked while she trailed a finger accross his chest.
Gag.
Eric picked her finger off his chest and said, "We'll see." Making Billie pout.
"Bye Meg!" Eric said as he walked off to his class.
Billie and her followers quickly surrounded me. Billie pulled me away and the other girls glared at me.
Guess they wanted their precious leader to themselves, eh?
"You didn't do it, did you."
"What? Didn't I do what?"
"You know what I'm talking about." She glared.
"Huh? I really don- OHHHHHHHH. That. Sorry I can't." I dug in my bag and gave her back the picture.
"You'll regret not helping me."Billie threatened.
I snorted. Yes. Literally snorted.
"Yeah right, I'm Eric's cousin."
Billie looked actually threatened by that and stomped away. Her little minons did the same.
The morning passed quickly and I made a friend.
Her name was Lily and she was the cutest thing. I thought of her as my little sister.
She was really pretty with her blonden locks and bright eyes.
It totally suited her curious personality.
She kept on asking me questions about Eric. I guess he was really popular here.
*Lunch*
"Wanna sit with Eric?" I asked Lily.
"No way!!! The football team tooo?"
"Sure." I said with a smile.
"Hey Eric, Mason, you guys" I said as we arrived at the football team's lunch table.
Eric gave me a wink, and the rest of them gave me head nods.
I went to get my lunch while Lily was entertaining Eric.
She kept on smiling at him and touching his shoulder while she joked.
Was she flirting with him?!
He was laughing back and I could tell that his laughs were sincere.
I was really jealous.
Did Lily like him?
I came back with my lunch.
"Soo, what's so funny?"
"Oh, Eric here is telling me about the time he-"She cracked up mid-sentance and didn't stop for a while.
She was definatley flirting with him.
The first friend I made alone at this place and she was using me?
Was she?
