_Bailey's perspective_The long hallways of Silver Deer High, seemed to stretch on forever, as I walked along them to my, almost last, period. I guess it was a good thing that they were empty, so I wasn't bumping into anyone, besides the people that decided to skip their class.
I trekked on, flinging my long caramel hair across my back as i walked.
I wasn't too bothered that I was late, it was no different than any other day. I would walk into class, about ten minutes late, the teacher would mark it down, I would look for a place to sit, and sit down. Easy. It's what I do everyday, it was my typical routine.
Once I had got to the end of the hallway, I turned left and made my way up the wooden staircase, straight toward the classroom I would soon be trapped in. I looked at my phone, right on time.
The teacher was standing outside of the classroom, I nearly bumped into the frail body of the old teacher."Yes?" I said, waiting to move past him to get to the room.
"You're going to detention tomorrow," He retorted. "And no excuses."
I stared at him."Why?" I said in a slow, calm voice, clearly not bothered by his direction.
He blinked."For being late every day." He responded. "It's getting out of hand."
I nodded, then pushed past him to get inside the tiny classroom. The whole class was staring staight at me, I adjusted the red scarf around my neck, and looked for an empty seat. Once I had spotted the seat at the very back of the class, I slowly walked toward it.
As I had sat down, the teacher walked into the room and started the lesson.
While he was doing that, I pulled an ear bud up my sleeve, and out my hand. I sat there and listened to the music, with my hand planted on my face.I did this the whole class, along with the next, until school was finally out.
I had to be honest, I hated it here. But I probably wasn't the only one. Actually, I knew I wasn't the only one, someone out there probably hated school as much as I did, everything about school was horrible. It took away from my time.
I sighed, and started walking toward my locker._Reese's perspective_
Once class finished, I grabbed the bright blue backpack out of my locker, and started to head off to the parking lot. Class had dragged on, for what seemed like forever, but I shouldn't complain, because he only handed out two pages of homework.
Finally, I reached the end of the hallway, and made my way out the door.
I welcome the foggy Friday air, and let it whip my blonde hair across my face, which was in a tight pony tail.
I looked for my white Chevrolet and finally found it along in the distance of the parking lot.
I did a cute little walk toward the car and heard the beeping as I unlocked it.
The leather seats of my car looked almost brand new, the car still had that 'new car smell' and the seats were still soft. Though, it technically was new because I got it three months ago, but it was still surprising it lasted this long, considering things don't stay bright and shiny when I'm around.
I sat down on the seat, and plugged in the keys. Before I drove off, I debated with myself if I should get coffee, or just go home.
The coffee side won, (like usual) so I backed out of my parking space, and headed in the direction of the little coffee place. As I pulled up at the coffee shop, I looked at their menu, and decide to get the black coffee.
"Hello, how may I help you?" I heard the lady through the speaker say.
"Hi-umm-im gonna get the black coffe, please."
"Would that be with or without whipped cream?"
"Without"
"Okay sounds good" she said, in a cheerful voice.
I pushed my cute high heels onto the pedal and pulled up to the window, to grab my warm, black coffee. As I was driving home, I was stopped at a red light, it happened so suddenly, the car in front of me didn't stop, the driver was looking blankly at their phone.
I tried to jerk my car away, then realized the car was coming straight for me.
I stared in horror at the car coming for me, then took one last glance at my beautiful car with its leather seats and invisible glass windows. My car would never look like this again.
I looked up to see the car, still mortified. Right as I did my face went blank, and I heard a screeching noise that didn't last long because at that second, my eyes shot closed, and everything turned a solid black.Thank you for reading my new book!
(I'm debating with myself if I should keep writing my other story, for now I'm gonna stick with this one.)
Sorry for the short chapter, I didn't really know how to end it. But I really like switching from each person's perspective! It makes it more....simple? I dunno, but I have a really great idea for this story, and I hope you continue reading it! Also, thank you for reading this notice, I'd be surprised if someone did.
Bye!
