The Mango Tree

I was 8 when his 1st encounter with the paranormal. 

It was almost noon when I woke up, I immediately got off his bed and ran outside to play with my sister Karen which was then 13. As I got out of house I saw our maid talking to someone in the nearby mango tree which was at the back of the house. I did not mind that at first and decided to play. I found my sister at the kitchen preparing lunch with my mother, "Ma who is Yaya Gen talking to outside?" I asked, mom got curious answering me that maybe its manong nilo but the truth is she doesn't know. That afternoon she asked Yaya gen about the incident and she said it was a suitor, his mom wants to meet the guy but she hesitated saying he is shy and does not want any trouble. She let that go and as long as no proble comes up..it ok for Yaya gen to have a suitor.

After 2 months, my mom fired Yaya Gen, and thats when strange things happend. My mom had strange dreams of a shadow figure with blood clotted eyes chasing her and trying to hurt her. Then things started disappearing and things in the house gets broken. One day my mom saw a man in the mango tree,she thought it was the suitor of Yaya gen. She came closer to see clearly, it was a tall handsome man  with a fancy looking coat and he looks very rich, as my mom came closer the man disappeared. The following day she got very sick, no doctor in any hospital can tell us what is her illness. One afternoon I came out, i saw the man near the mango tree. He looked very sad so i came near him..he immediately noticed me and hid behind the tree. but i followed him, I saw the man but he wasnt a man, he was an old man, very old and half of his body was horselike, i was a child..how can i know its not human. I talked to him asking why he is sad, he said the love of his life was fired by my mom, that she must pay for what she did and must suffer. I asked if it was yaya gen and he said yes. I asked my sister Karen to call yaya gens cp and yaya gen answered and i told her that she needs to come back and finish this with her suitor, the next day yaya gen came and my mom was at her critical condition. She feels that something is gripping her chest that anytime it could explode and it was very painful. I came with yaya gen and i saw the man, the very old man,but yaya said he was very handsome and rich i tried insisting that he was old and ugly but yaya just smiled and kept walking. Yaya talked to him for hours then she fell asleep in the tree. The creature came to me and gave me a handful of wet dirt, he said give it to my mom to heal, to rub it in her chest,"thank you..do not disturb my home.."he warned. i did not understand what it said at first and ran inside. i threw the dirt at my mother, then rubbed the remaining dirt in my hands in her chest. Everyone got shocked and irritated at me for what i did but something happen. even the doctor cant explain...something came out of her chest, a nilon like fiber. my mother pulled it and she was shouting in doing so curious of what is in the thread.then it got more painful when she pulled something out, her flesh was torn out pulling that thing inside her body. In the end it was a small arrow with razors in the tip. She cried as she pulled it out of her body. Then the wound healed after pulling the arrow out. She then fainted. Nobody can explain what happened. yaya gen was found dead at the mango tree, the cause of death was sleep paralysis but i viewed it differently. She went with her suitor to live with him for eternity. My mom buried the arrow at the backyard just before we transferred to Iloilo. Before we left I can still see the centaur looking at us as we left. behind him was yaya gen, she has a chain in her neck like a dog,Pity she did not know what her suitor really was. I was lucky it did not hurt me. I thought that was it..But it was just the beggining..
