I said, making my point clear, calling him by his first name on purpose.

Kyungsoo was watching me without a change in his facial expression, confused, with his mouth opened wide. He was really cute, but I was holding my emotions back and kept my stone face. I've decided to go against my whole being for a sake of the mission.

,,What?"

He asked again, his lips curling in a weird way.

,, I know it's very confusing and I honestly don't except anything from you, because humans does not feel the same way as we wolves do. I will not bother you in any way, because I would like to keep our relation professional. Just have it in mind that sometimes I will have to get further away from you and other things, because just your smell can affect me and my inner wolf.

I'm the Commander here. I want this mission to flow smoothly without any disturbances. It's already enough that one of my man hooked up with one of your doctors. Sorry about the inconvenience."

I said with a slight cough, trying to appear completely professional even though I was sobbing like a small pup deep inside, just wanting to cuddle/mate him to death.

This was a must. I knew that sooner or later one of these idiots in my team will blabber the truth, about him being my mate, so I decided to tell it to him by myself. I needed him to understand that I had some responsibilities and also that he wasn't in danger or anything like that. I couldn't think that human would actually have some feelings for me.

But at the same time, a really small part of me wanted him to tell me, that he feels the same way and just calmly accept the fact, that he was my better half. Naive me.

, I-I'm your mate? True mate? B-but how do you know?"

Kyungsoo blushed a little and was confused as ever.

A small smile reached my lips, but before he could notice I quickly shook it off.

,, We, werewolves, simply know it the first second we met the person. We feel it deep inside our soul, flesh and bones.

I wanted to answer simply, but when I saw his big, brown eyes I had an urge to tell him how I really felt, so I added the second sentence.

It came out more poetic that I intended, but I couldn't take it back.

Kyungsoo asked and I simply nodded, turning my eyes down to the floor.

,, And you say that..... that h-humans can't feel the same way as you werewolves do?"

I lifted my head, when I heard him ask innocently.

He was still staring at me, his mouth slightly open.
