The Dream Wolf carried on, through the forest he ran as fast as lighting, but his pursuers would not give up chase...
"Wake up!" said a familiar voice.
I recognised this as my little brother Andy, who probably wanted me to play trains with him.
He loves the train set Gran bought him last Christmas.
"Finally!!! I've been trying to wake you up for ages now!!!"An arrow shot past the Dream Wolf's head, but still he ran towards the light that shined through the trees
I had no idea what to say next, I think I had a dream, but it was one of those dreams that you can't remember but you still know you've had it. I said "what do you want Andy? Why did you wake me up?" and I thought he was going to say 'Trains' but he replied "The school trip to the museum is today! Mum says you have to get up early!"
How could I have forgotten? Everyone in the class had been looking forward to it since last year! The museum we were going to has lots of interactive computers and lots of high tech gadgets everywhere, that's what everyone else was exited about, but what I wanted to see was the massive t-rex skeleton that sits in the Dino room.
Andy wanted to see the train exhibit. He really likes trains. Finally the Dream Wolf managed to get to the clearing. The White Woodpecker was waiting and he flapped his wings, sending the nightmares back a few steps, but not enough. One of them grabbed the Dream Wolf's leg with its sharp claws
I put my jumper on and got my bag ready for school.
Me and Andy left our house and started walking down the road.
"Andy, did you remember your homework?" I asked. I'm guessing no because he ran back home.
Halfway to school I think I remembered something from my dream. I couldn't make it out, but it looked kind of like a dog.
Oh well.
