It's the first week of school and I don't have much since my dad got out of the game. He married this one dude he met while he was in the game and when people started finding out they lost all respect and he went bankrupt. I can't handle this I'm not used to living this life it's crazy how stuff can get snatched right from you within the blink of an eye. I have two friends that stuck by me through it all and they are De'Mari and Terell. They are on their way to get me so we can go and get this year started. They finally arrived and we headed off to school which was only a few blocks from where I lived.
"Y'all ready for this year?" Terrell said excitedly.
"Nah not really but whatever one more year to go and I'm out of here." I said tiredly
"Why you always be sounding down like just rock it out my boy." said De'Mari
We finally arrived we said wassup to everyone and kept it pushing I was ready for this day to be over. I just wanted my classes to fly since none of them were really with people I fooled with were in them. I was in all honors classes because I wanna make it out the hood. I do also have a little side hustle selling dime bags for someone who is like my uncle because he was the only one who stuck by my dad after the whole situation. I stayed fresh even though I wasn't really in the best part of town but it is what it is.
Lunch came in no time I was at the table and De'Mari and Terrell and they were telling me about all the girls that were looking at them and all the ones who had big butts but I tuned them out thinking about this girl who couldn't keep her eyes off of me. Her name was Tatiana. I mean she was kind of cute but I'm not looking for someone right now, but I could give her a chance. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Terrell tapping me.
"Huh?" I said.
"Were you even listening to us?" De'Mari asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Why you lying what you over there thinking about?" Terrell asked.
"Nothing. You real nosey." I said.
"Whatever." De'Mari said.
After lunch was over I had biology that's my favorite always has been and I enjoyed everything about it. That period went so fast though I guess that's what happens when you have fun then my last class of the day was math. That girl was there again and it was an open seat beside me she was really pretty but I just don't think I'm ready to have a girl. They kind of needy and I need to worry about myself and my family first before thinking about taking care of someone else you know. Once the teacher was finished talking and gave us our independent work Tatiana decided to talk to me.
"Hey." She said.
"Wassup." I said.
"Can you help me with this?" She said.
"Sure. What you need?" I said.
I helped her with whatever she needed she kept flirting with me and I was somewhat flirting but hey she was cute so I did what I do best and put the charm on. So now the young girl is feeling ya boy. The rest of the class we were just getting to know each other. She made arrangements for us to meet this weekend at the mall but I have work but I still said yeah.

Well the first day of school wasn't half bad I got all my work done as soon as I got to class the teachers showed me love and vice-versa. I was kind of like a tutor because I was always the first one done so if you needed me I would be there to help you. Around lunch time I sat with my two best friends Audra and Breasia we all talked about how our classes were and I told them how I was basically helping my classmates with anything they needed. Then Breasia was telling me about this boy in her English class.
