When I woke up Alex was still asleep. I quietly tried to get dressed and get ready but as soon as i opened my suitcase Alex woke up. "Hey Brian"
"Hey Alex,I'm getting ready but we have an hour before we need to go eat breakfast so you can go back to sleep if you want to."
She got out of bed and walked over to me. "Brian, thank you" she said as she hugged me.
"Thanks for what?"
"Last night"
I hugged her back and looked at her, "what was wrong anyway?" I asked
"I had this dream, but it wasn't like a dream, It felt real. As real as this" waving her hand around the room" I could feel everything in my dream and it was horrible, and then I dreamed something happened to you and I woke up."
I had nothing to say to that because I had never experienced anything like that before. "This is going to sound really insincere but we really need to start getting ready if we're going to eat breakfast."
Alex laughed and let go of me. "I guess, but since you did that you have to touch the sharks at the aquarium."
"Wha- nononono you know I'm afraid of sharks."
She just shook her head and walked into the bathroom.

"Thank you, and have fun at the aquarium, but if I was you I would start at the tunnel because it fills up fast."
I thanked the ticket lady and took Alex's hand,"so the tunnel first?" I asked
"Sure." And took off running.
As we walked through the tunnel Alex couldn't do anything but take photos."come here!" Alex said
I walked over and she stood next to me and we took a photo infront of the tank.
After a few hours of walking around we stopped for a [overpriced] lunch in the food court. "All that we have left is the part where you can pet the animals and the penguins." Alex said as we walked out.
" I vote for the penguins." I said
"Nice try but you are going to pet a shark" she said
After a crawl through the penguin exhibit we arrived at the sharks. Alex went right up and stuck her hand in while I stood back and watched. She saw me watching and came over and took my hand. "Come on they're not going to bite!"
"That's what you say"
"If you touch the shark you'll get a surprise"
"What kind of surprise."
"Something like this-" and she kissed me on the cheek.
I stuck my hand in the pool and let a shark run by my hand. I pulled my hand out and turned around to go wash my hands, "that wasn't so bad was it?" Alex asked.
"I guess not"
As we were walking to the exit Alex grabbed my hand and pulled my arm, I turned and she kissed me.
