EDWARD POV

" I'm sorry." Heaven said as she looked away trying to avoid my eyes.

"It's fine. It's not your fault." I assured her even though deep inside, I felt a stung in my heart.

"I never meant to hurt you. I thought that I really like you. But I guess I just like you as a friend." She explained.

"Maybe it works that way. It's alright. I was the one who fell for you and it wasn't your fault." I said to her as I tried to smile.

"Okay. I'm really sorry. Bye." She said as she held my arm. I guess she felt pity for me.

"Okay bye. See you around." I said as I returned her wave.

As I walked pretending that nothing happened, I passed by this girl who's reading a book while sitting at the bench near where Heaven and I was talking.

"Did she hear our talk?" I thought to myself.

I tried to give her a sideway glance as I walked infront of her. I saw her looked up. She still has those eyes, those innocent eyes that makes me want to look away. I walked up fast ignoring that I saw her looked at me. Starting a conversation with her will be awkward since in the first place we're not even that close. As I was nearing the hall, Marco, my bestfriend, went up to me.

"Hey man, have you seen Kisses?" He said as he tries to look around.

"I just saw her at the school garden. Why are you looking for her?" I asked.

"I see. Thanks! I just have something to tell her." He answered with a wide smile plastered on his face.

"Is this about Vivoree?" I asked curiously.

"Yup! I wanted to tell her that I already told Vivoree my feelings and the best part is, she also likes me back." He excitedly answered.

"Happy for you dude." I said to him as I patted his back. He's so lucky that the girl he likes has the same feelings for him.

"So I have to go. I need to tell Kisses all about it. I'm sure she'll be happy." He said before saying goodbye.

I just hope so. I have this feeling that she have a small attraction for my bestfriend. I hope that I'm wrong because if not, she'll be hurt.
