Love and My New Perceptions of It

As I've grown, my out takes on love have changed

I used to believe that it didn't exist and that it was all a lie

Being a young soul that has always been mistreated for being you

And never felt this supposed "love"

Of course you not gonna believe what everyone seem to claim they are feeling

Divorce, people cheating, hate, anger, fights, abuse

Lies upon lies just flourishing until truth kills it

The horror around you can destroy just the little faith you had in you

Everyone's actions is going against what they taught you

All you can think about is how hypocritical can they be

Of course you are not going to follow them. It just leads to a path of destruction

And a broken heart.....

Then one day you meet that one person That tells you everything Will be OK

Of course you won't believe them because everyone else said the same thing

So you go on. Not thinking about them too much 

Eventually they become close 

You realize that you have never been  so calm and relaxed with anyone else 

Eventually the individual explains his feelings for you. And you are caught up

Your feelings just rising up and it's something you never felt before 

Eventually y'all somewhat date and fall for each other

Many trials pass with family and friends. 

You are hurt many times

 But you fight because you love them. 

You both know the truth and have faith in each other

You realize what love is.....its different from anything you ever experienced 

Its a true happiness.and you feel like nothing without this person

You accept every flaw and love them unconditionally.

Even though your time together have been short, 

It feels like y'all had been together forever

Like you had known him your whole life

Any time something happens, you heart hurts for that person

Sometimes even at small things.

Sometimes love happens unexpectedly and sometimes when you don't want it

You just have to takes it and ride with it

For it will be an experience of a lifetime

Even though sometimes it don't last, at least you don't regret the awesome feelings and adventures that came with it. 

For it gave you a new out look on life and changed your perception of things

Sometimes you can't  take what people give you but go out and get what you need for yourself

Everything happens for a reason

And love........

Love is love......you have to figure out the rest yourself 😉
