I'm following the path God has laid to me.
I took his hand when I hear him call.
I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day.
To laugh,to love, to play.
Tasks left undone stay that way. I found peace at the end of the day.
If my parting had left a void. Then fill it with remembered hits.
A friendship, a laugh, a kiss. Oh,Yes those things I'll miss too.
Do not be burdened with sorrow.
I wish, you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much. Good friends, good laughs, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed to brief don't lengthen it with grief.
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee.
God wanted me now, he set me free
