Jetstream Sam. The gentle Brazilian wind, yet gentle describes the opposite of his nature. Wielding his sword, the High Frequency (HF) Murasama, had the weight of a sheet of paper for maximum speed, a razor sharp blade for slicing through his enemies with ease, and a surge of electricity flowing through it at high frequencies making it indestructible. The blade's customized holster has a trigger the blast out the blade with incredible speed, to give Sam an instant draw of his sword. He rides on his motorcycle, the wind flowing through his hair and his body vibrating. He stops near a pothole and begins to unmount his vehicle. As he start to lift up the pothole as two cybernetically enhanced police walk up to him. Sam also happens to have augments to his body, giving him enhanced mobility, strength, precision, and allows him to slow down his rendering of time in exchange for Fuel Cells (FC), a storable energy found in all of those who have augments as well. Sam sends the pothole to the side, breaking a street light, and the two police walk up to him, the larger of the two saying, "Hey you! What do you think you're doing?"
"Well officer, just strolling by casually on such a beautiful night."
"And what do we have here?" The smaller officer said, pressing his stun stick at Sam's blade.
"Oh, this?" Sam questions sarcastically, as he points the butt of the blade at the larger officer's face. Pulling the holster's trigger, the HF Murasama shoots out and sends the officer flying into the air with it. The smaller officer, baffled, stares at his colleague right as Sam jumps up grabbing his sword, and slicing the officer down the middle, landing, and thrusts his blade into the other officer.
Sam sheathes his blade and hops down into the sewer below.
"Agh! This smell is worse than that of Brazil!"
"Find him! That bastard has gotta be around here somewhere!" a distant officer shouts. They were in the sewers looking for Sam, but Sam had a few tricks up his metaphorical sleeves. Sam "slows down" time, and sprints past the eight officers barricading Sam's way. They weren't able to see anything but a blur in the midst. Sam had used about 85% percent of his FC, and he wanted more. Seeing two more officers, he engaged them. He snuck up behind each, slicing both with one horizontal slash. He proceeds to stab the FC canisters that are attached to their spines and hangs them from his sword. He then crushes them in his hand to fully restore his health status and his FC.
"I feel brand new!" Sam exclaimed, rolling his shoulders and sheathing his sword. He walks into the next corridor and proceeds down the stairs.
An extremely synthesized, low and glitchy voice says, "Saaaam." The voice sends echoes terror around the area. Through the thick red phosphorus mist, the voice's bearer dashes through, swiping at Sam. Sam rolls under the attacker, who happens to be a robotic dog.
"And you are?" Samuel questions.
"I am LQ-84i. I am here to exterminate you, Samuel Rodriguez."
"So who's your boss?"
"World Marshall."
"So those are the ones who give you your commands. Hmph, too bad I'm here to crush them."
"You cannot crush something like them, now prepare to be eradicated!"
The battle begins. LQ-84i starts by unleashing a barrage of attacks with its built in chainsaw joint. The first slice b Sam, but the cybernetic samurai swiftly cartwheeled over it. The seconds attack was overhead. Sam quickly partied that attack. With such a perfect parry Sam saw a moment to thrust while his opponent was confused. Sam hit LQ-84i's abdomen and front left leg. It dashed backwards and shot out three kunai back at Sam. Deflecting the first two, the third's trajectory was off and sliced Sam's right cheek ever so slightly. He could feel the warm, crimson liquid leak from the cut. LQ-84i went into a defensive attack mode, performing hit-n'-run moves. When the robotic dog gashed open Sam's arm, the samurai instinctively slowed down time. He removed LQ-84i's claw from his arm, and retaliated with a slash that went through the dog's hind legs. Sam kicked the dog into the air and proceeded to slice it into ribbons.
With its last dying communication systems, LQ-84i asks Sam, "How did you beat me? I am unable to lose!"
"You shouldn't be a sore loser ya'know."
"My design must be flawed."
"Now now, I am quite good you know."
The call ended. With blood still oozing out of his arm, Sam rejected the idea of using repair nano-paste. He proceeds into the next corridor.
