It was just after sun down when we got into our position. I had taken my old shirt before and made it into a sling for Michael-John. We were up on the roof, the body of Heather on the ground below us. Michael-John and I were sitting side by side, and watching the sun set. Michael-John turned to me, and we gazed into eachother's eyes before Michael-John spoke. "Payton, I love you. I love the way the sunset practically reflects off your long blonde hair. I love the way your green eyes sparkle. Your long, beautiful legs, your big....boobs." I blushed, and glanced selfconsciencely down to my chest. He lifted my face back to his with his finger. "I also love the way you always are making sure your not ugly. And your lips... could kiss them all day." I decided to just that.

I leaned foward, silencing him from gushing more with a kiss. He atfirst stiffend, but with in a few seconds he relaxed more. I pulled away, and turned my head, grinning, still savoring the taste of him.  His hand crept slowly to my leg, and I let him keep it there, waiting for them to come stupidly to our feet.

It wasn't long actually, before a large group of Rebels strolled under our noses.  I had dozed off, and was awoken with a sharp pinch from Michael-John.  "Ouch! What was that for?" I hissed, rubbing down. He pointed down to to the group, still a few feet away.

"Time to move." he grunted as he stood up. I stood up smoothly next to him. I led him to the place where we climbed up; a small trash pile that came all the way to the top.

We skidded ungracefully down, causing a lot of trash to fall down, thus creating a loud noise.  At this time, we were behind the group.

"Look!" A kid shouted. "There they are!" All of the heads snapped around.  It wasn't long before all ten kids surrounded us.  The biggest one, a tall with black hair, I'm guessing dyed, because blonde was starting to show, stepped foward.  I reconised his face as the boy that got kicked from the football team, but then joined the baseball team.  He glared at us with such anger, I thought he would murder me right then and there. But when he spoke, his voice was a calm, scary, and filled with such hate I much rather him being yelled at.

"Why hello. What do we have here?" he asked. If he was circling it could have added to the effect.

"It's Payton and Michael-John!" a kid with brown hair yelled sarcasticly, crossing his arms. The kid's head snapped back, and he all but scratched the kids eyes out.

"Obviously Aiden! Now shut up!" he spat, and turned back to us, but before he could speak, Aiden spoke for him.

"Oh, my appologies you mighty Arick. Forgive me." he said, giving a small bow. Arick's hands clenched, but he turned back to us.

"What are you doing here? You know we're going to kill you." he said, grinning. There was such evil in his eyes, and his grins, I cringed against Michael-John, and he put a protective hand on my shoulder with his good hand.

"We're calling a truce. We want to talk with Demond." Arick's grin faultered. He thought for a moment, then grinned again.

"No." he said simply, and motioned with his fingers to attack. Nobody moved.

Another kid behind us spoke up. "Demond gave us specific instructions to bring them if their caught." he said firmly, and I guessed if I dared to turn and look at him, I imagained him with his arms crossed, and eyes glaring. "We would all be in trouble."

Arick grumbled, and turned around, starting to walk away. "Fine Jeremiah." he called over his shoulder. "Do it the goody-two-shoe way!" he turned his head, and stopped.  He stopped, staring infront of a lump.  He was quiet as he just stared down. All of the sudden, he whipped around, eyes blaring. "Heather." he growled, getting in my face. "You killed my sister." he said, and slapping me.

The blwo knocked me backwards, and I stared at him in shock. Michael-John imeediatly punched Aiden back, and they started yelling at eachother, before the other kids stepped in and seperated. Michael-John leaned down and whispered in my ear.

"Are you Ok?" he asked, concern filling his whole voice.

"I'm fine." I said quickly and quietly, because they had started walking us foward. Arick stayed in the back, carrying Heather's brocken body.  I noticed the Aiden kid convienently started to lead the group.

They led us through the blood spattered school. With every yard, I walked closer and closer to Michael-John, worry bubbling inside me. Aiden pushed open the door, and a silance fell over the room.
