Chapter 2

" Well obviously, you? " I asked him. I am such a bitch. He thought about it for a while before saying " Well, you probably won't believe me anyway, "

And with that he walked out of the portrait, leaving me dumbfounded there. After I finally came back to my senses, I ran after him but somehow he had already reached our next lesson. How he moved so fast I didn't know.

After dinner, I finally managed to corner Nico by dragging him into an empty classroom. Once we were out of sight, I faced him and said irritability " You haven't told me your godly parent, ".

He shrugged and proceeded to walk out of the classroom. I followed suit and kept bugging him all the way back to the common room. I was a little afraid he would snap and pulverize me.

" Tell me tell me tell me, " I was still asking him when we entered the common room. Pansy was no where to be seen thank the gods. I tried my best to annoy him, which wasn't that hard because I have the reputation of annoying everyone.

A group of students were chatting about Sirius Black, the escaped murderer blah blah. Nico started to enter the boys dormitories, hoping that would shake me off but well, I just followed him in.

Curiosity=1 Common sense=0

" Stop following me! It's getting really annoying! " he snapped. For a moment I decided maybe it was better to stop, but nah, I need to know why another demigod is here. And it's nice having someone like me.

Draco Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle were in the room laughing their heads off about soemthing. Maybe it's Potter again. He eyed me and Nico curiously and then continued to babble with his two bodyguards.

" A clue at least? Please Nico please. Heyyy are you listening? ". He was not listening. In fact he was busy searching through his trunk and muttering something about ' contacting camp ' and ' another demigod '.

I had no idea what he meant by 'contacting camp'.

When he looked up again, he held a drachma in his hand and walked past me towards the common room. I wonder where he would be able to send an Iris message because not many rainbows can be found in the Slytherin common room.

I followed him out of the dungeons, still asking him. He looked ready to kill me so I took out my wand just in case. Where were we heading? I have no idea. We passed by Harry Potter and his two friends.

I smiled at Hermione which caught her by suprise. I had never smiled at anyone while Pansy was around so now I don't care. Peeves the poltergeist was about to throw a bag of spiders at Ron Weasley but when he caught sight of Nico, he fled. Or was it me?

Normally, I avoid ghosts because I don't go though them, for me, they are kind of solid, I bump into them. I guess it's because Hecate is the goddess of Necromancy though her powers aren't as powerful than those of Hades. So I sort of inherit some of that.

" Oi, where are you going? You haven't answ- That's a wall! " I shouted as Nico ran towards a shadowy corner and disappeared. I stood rooted to the spot. Maybe it's some kind of secret portal. I walked slowly towards the corner and touched the wall. Solid.

I've heard of shadow travel before but had never actually seen one. So if Nico could shadow travel... But it couldn't be. A child of the Big Three? Wouldn't he be dead? Could he really be a child of Hades? Nah impossible. But then again... I'm pretty sure he just shadow traveled and Peeves just fled away from him.

" Death Kid gone? Whoopee! " Peeves voice rang out behind me and he began bouncing up and down looking for Ron. Death Kid? I guess that confirms it. But still it seemed so hard to believe, and what was he doing here anyway? As far as I know, I'm the only child of Hecate who studies here. Actually, I think all demigods can study at Hogwarts not just children of Hecate.
