ch 12 Come on, lets go to a party

Leah pov

" Leah ummmmm there is this party tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?" A boy named Kurt shyly asked me. Kurt is a sweet popular jock but he just isn't what I'm interested in right now.

 " Uhhhhhhh....................uhhh I gu............"

" Sorry Kurt................. Leah is coming to the party with me." Talia smiles sitting down next to me.

Kurt frowns,nods his head and walks away.

" What are you doing in here.........................never mind your ditching again aren't you? And that was so rude of you just to butt into our conversation."

" No I have been in ISS all day and I asked the nice lady if she would let me come see my friend and she said yes because I was good. Thank god because Kurt's ass was going to ask you to the party............even worse is you were going to say yes."

" Why were you in ISS? Did you get in another fight?" 

" Calm down boo, I promised you I would try not to get in another fight and I am trying to keep my promise. I just got in trouble for having my phone."

" Oh..........okay good."

" So do you want to go to the party with me?"

" Um." 

" And Ria of course." she says quickly.

" Talia you know I don't really dig parties." 

" I know but it is going to be really fun and we don't get to hang out anymore." 

" That really wouldn't be hanging out either we will be in a room full of people."

" Ill stay by your side the whole time, I promise." 

" I don't know."

" Its about Laney isn't it?" 

" Yeah, I need to stick around and keep an eye on her." 

'Ring'Ring'

Everyone begins to exit the class signing school is out.

" Wait she is back? I haven't seen her at school." 

" Yeah she crept into my bed last night and she isn't going to school anymore." 

" So she like droped out?" 

" No , she is just going on-line."

" Hold up did you say she crept into your bed?" Talia questioned

" Yeah, she was sooooo drunk."

" She started drinking again?" 

" Yeah and smoking." I frown. 

" Oh well honestly Leah, Laney is going to do what she wants and you can't always keep an eye on her. My sister says Laney is a sneaky bitch."

" Oh trust me she is."

Talia puts her arm around me. " Hey it will be okay."

" I hope."

" Ladies.................. so are we attending the party tonight?" Ria questions coming up to us.

They both look at me and I nod my head yes.

" Hell yea! I have to get on the bus for the football game, Ill call you when I get to the party."

" Okay, I love you." 

" Love you too sista!" she smiles turing around and walking away with a group of cheerleaders.
