"Hey!! Wait up you guys." I heard someone yell from behind us. We all looked behind us and it was Polly. Polly is my sister. She is a cheerleader that is always peppy and happy and bubbly and it's annoying but I live with her. She is a freshman this year and always does good in school and it's annoying.
My name is Hannah and I go to Southberg high school. I'm 17 and in 11th grade. My friends name's are Myia, Blake, Alexa, Justin, and Austin. I have lived here in Lakewood for my entire life and it's a shitty town. I have gotten used to the cold and fog and rain but I have never gotten used to the fact that at least 15 people go missing in our town every year. I know it doesn't seem like that many people but Lakewood is small. The population is only about 1500 people.
I know everyone in town and a lot of people here are not very nice but what do you expect from a small gloomy town.
We all stopped and waited for Polly to come running up behind us. When she caught up with us we all started walking to my truck. Austin and I are partners for a project and so he is coming over to my house and so is the rest of us I guess.
We get to my truck and I hop into the driver seat and Justin hops into the passenger seat and everyone else crammed into the back seat. I started the truck and put the car in reverse and slowly backed out of the parking lot. I got my truck from my aunt but when I got it, it was a piece of shit. I had to fix it and now it's still a price of shit but I love my piece of shit truck.
