The moment he started talking, he looked me in the eyes the whole time.

"Addison, you were very early in your pregnancy. You were also in a car crash and passed out numerous times throughout the last 24 hours. One of the EMT's found out you were pregnant. We did an ultrasound and found out you had twins. They were both in distress which was caused a lot of swelling and pushing on the organs. You were probably in a lot of pain especially the moment your car crashed. If we didn't take them out through a c-section, neither of you would of survived. If you need a moment to take this all in, I understand and I can give you a moment."

"No no I'm fine you can continue." I said not so reassuringly

His eyes were so beautiful and peaceful, it was calming me. I kinda like this guy.

"So we performed an emergency c-section. This made it so these twins could have a chance of survival instead of no chance. I'm sorry to inform you that neither of them had made it. There is no reason to keep you staying at this hospital so you are discharged.

"NNOOO!" I broke down crying and sobbing with my hands on my face. I heard a door open and shut again. I looked up and Josh wasn't there anymore. After a few minutes I decided I should get going and leave. I looked out the window and noticed it was getting dark out. I looked down at my phone and saw it was only 6:30. Right as I grabbed my very few belongings, I heard a door open and shut again. I looked up and saw Josh standing there in a suit looking hot as hell with his hand behind his back.

Possibly holding something? I thought to myself

"Hello Addison. I stopped by your room because I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?" He said as he pulled out flowers from behind his back.

My jaw dropped. This. Man. Likes. Me? But hooowww..... he's so perfect. The jawline, the eyes, his BODY!

"Addison?" He asked

"YES! Of course I'll go on a date with you!"

I ran over to him and hugged him. He hugged me back and it just felt so right. I know something good when I feel it.

We exchanged numbers and I texted him my address.

"Pick you up at 7?" He asked hopefully

"Yup, that works! Where are we going?"I smiled back

"That's a surprise. Dress nice!" He stated

We walked out of the room together and out of the corner of my eye I saw Jack approaching.

AN: In the next few chapters, it will get more exciting. I know right now it might be a little boring but I have some exciting plans...😏
