Chapter 1 :school

Pov:Malaya. Beep. . Beep . Beep

Slamming my hand down on my alarm clock feeling sick because not only  it was first day of school but because its my first day of being a junoir at high school

Done thinking about how terrible my first day of school is going to be i get up and get in the shower
after im done i brush my teeth then put my hair in a side braid

Going to my closet i pick out my outfit which is a black and white jumper with black hills and pearl earrings although I'm a nerd I like to have some Style and I wear heels because I am so short 5'3 to be exact

I hurried downstairs with my purse my heels clicking and clacking down the stairs causing my mother and father to notice me while my father is not looking I give my mother a dirty look and giving her a stiff hug and then going over to my father and giving him a kiss on the cheek and a hug telling him I love him

-School-
I make my way into the Main office and politely tell the staff lady my name and get my schedule

1st period Advanvced language arts

2nd period Math

3rd period Band

4th period Advanced science

5th period Advanced world history

6th period chorus

7th period PE

8th period Musical theater

Mm i think to myself not bad

Scurrying down the hall to my first-period And not paying attention I bump into. Michael Todd

And before you start assuming Michael Todd is not the school Playboy and is not snobby and cocky even though I've only had one encounter with him he is just well known around the school but he likes to keep to himself

The way his hands touched my arm to catch me brought tingles right to my body but as I looked into his eyes the tingles were replaced with fear seeing his hard cold glare

Gently picking me up and not manhandling me he placed me to the side which surprised me because of how angry he looked then he stormed down the hall

Wondering what got stuck up his butt and died i headed to my first period which I had 30 seconds to get to feeling eyes on me I hurried into the classroom

Authors note: I'm sorry guys I know this is a horrible book but please give me a chance this is my first book and I'm hoping to be a better writer and I want you guys to help me but anyway even if you don't vote and you just view my book thank you

P.s also the title stranded was just something I came up with while laying down in my room and I know it might confuse you because the book is about two people trying to find Hope but if you didn't understand the description the word stranded was used to describe how Michael and Malaya are lost at finding hope
