Chapter 7: Friends Or Lovers

Lanna made sure to book a flight as soon as possible, Ryan was nervous but he wanted to spend time with Lanna. "You think they would mind I came along?" Ryan said walking beside Lanna as they were taking a walk in the park. "They will love to have you come Ryan, calm down" She giggled softly. The two sat down

and relaxed under a tree, him laying down and using his arms as a pillow, Lanna pulled her legs up and wrapped her arms around them. "So what do you plan on doing while back home?" "I don't know, hang out with my brother and parents, maybe get Harris to hangout. Oh and I have to take you to my favorite place when I was a kid" She smiled. "Sounds awesome" He smiled and closed his eyes. Lanna looked ahead and at the people around the park, she sighed. Ever since that date with Ryan he never really mentioned the kiss, never really tried talking about it either as if it didn't happen. She looked down at the snoozing male beside her, smiling softly, her left hand gently began running through his hair. Ryan relaxed more, making her smile more, she as willing to wait for whatever answer he had, they already shared loving moments so, she hoped for the best.

~Home~

Lanna was getting her bags ready, Ryan left for home so he could do the same. "Well you three, wish mommy luck when she is gone, she will need it" Her flight being tomorrow early in the morning. Walking out she decided to make something to eat, Ryan was staying home to get some videos done so she had time to think some things over. Walking into the living room with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and chips she sat down, turning on the TV.

~Hour Later~

Lanna was sleeping on her couch, the three dogs lying around the couch huddled in a fury pile. But soon, Lanna began twitching and mumbling in her sleep.

~Lanna's Dream/Nightmare~

She looked around the dark nothingness, slightly panicked by the feeling of being watched. "Hello?" She tested her limitations, taking one step then another before she knew she could freely walk. "Hello?!" She never had such a dream as this before and with no light around her fear spiked up her anxiety. "Please, is anyone here?!" She felt her eyes begin to water. Soon a small dot of light began to shine and slowly grow bigger till the whole room became white. "Lanna?" Looking up, her blurry eyes caught a glimpse of shoes  then finally seeing Ryan. "Ryan!" She stood and slightly trembled, her arms wrapping around him and holding him tightly. "Lanna, it will be okay, I'm here." She smiled and nuzzled her face into his sweater. "I was so scared, everything was dark and I was alone" "It's okay" He pulled away from her, smiling and going in for a kiss, but, this did not feel right. Ryan gripped her hair rather tightly, other hand began squeezing her hip. "Stop, ow, please" She began pulling at his wrists but it resulted in pulling strands of her hair and nails digging into her hip. "Stop!" She lifted her leg and stomped on his foot as hard as she could. "Ow, you little.." She stepped back and looked up, Ryan's usual poker face Cry mask didn't have the straight line mouth but replaced with a rigidity looking one. "You're not Ryan" The person only stood in place, his hand moved up and slid his mask off. "No, you..you can't be Ryan" She felt her body go numb. "Cause I'm not" His eyes shone red and his voice was deep. "That fool, Ryan..we are nothing alike, although I'm apart of him that won't stop me from doing what I want" He smiled and began making his way over to her. Lanna began scrambling away but her body felt like heavy, resulting in her crawling the best she could. "You cannot get away from me Lanna, as long as you have a connection with Ryan, you and I will be seeing each other much more often" He came up beside her and steps on her back. "No, your nothing, your not real and you can't hurt us!" Lanna spoke with as much courage she could, but she was not fooling the evil entity glaring down at her. "Is that so?" He stomped her lower back before kicking her side, making her flip onto her back, Lanna screaming in pain. "Lookie here, either I'm going deaf or that was a true scream of pain" He chuckled. "I..I don't care, your still not real."  She held her side in pain, she was confused but not willing to back down. "I'm sure you know by now that, this cannot be a normal dream, your a smart girl, but..I think you need more convincing, don't you agree?" He walked over and grabbed her arm, dragging her along the ground then picked her up, dropping her in a chair that was never here before. "What should I do, I could be mean and slap you around a bit, but were is the fun in that? Oh, I know" He snaps his fingers and a flash blinded her for a split second before it cleared. "Were am I?" She blinked to gain her vision, gasping when she saw or she hoped it was Ryan. "Ryan?"  "Lanna, what hell is going on?" "I don't know, I took a nap and I started dreaming...or what I hope is a dream" Ryan frowns once he saw Mad standing beside Lanna. "You" "Yes, me, I am very happy to see you too Ryan" He chuckled. "Why bring her into this?" Mad only grins, walking over to Lanna and gripping her hair making her cry out and flinch. "What are you doing, let her go you basterd!"  "Our little honey here, thinks none of this is real, so I plan on showing her just how real it is" He smirked. "Don't" Ryan stafter to struggle but the restraints gold him down tight. "Don't touch her!" "I told you Ryan, you should have seen this coming after all, I warned you. I know your love for her is strong, so as long as you love her that connection you have will allow me to her rather you like it or not" He kicks the chair out from under her, his foot coming harshly in contact with her wrist, a scream ripping from Lanna's mouth. "Lanna!" Ryan became frantic and started thrashing around, that made his evil counterpart glare his way and stepped over to deal a hard backhand to Ryan's face. "Ryan!" Lanna felt her eyes water. "Now, now Ryan you know you shouldn't interrupt..NOW WAIT YOUR TURN!" Mad. screams at Ryan stuffing his mouth to shut him up. "Please..stop, just leave him alone" Lanna tried getting up. "Why should I, you two had plans on stopping me so don't I get a fair chance?" He made his way over and gently kicked her back down.  " I will finish what I started and you can't stop me" He stomped her wrist once more satisfied with the mixing sounds of a crack and Lanna's blood curling scream. Tears poured from her eyes as she cradled her broken wrist, screaming when a blow was given to her side. "I will have what I want..even if it means destroying the things Ryan loves most..losing something as dear as you will make him snap and make my dreams a reality..till then I will play with you both like the puppets you are" His laugh was the only thing she heard before things went black.
