Sorry for not writing for awhile...
Loud. Loud and noisy. That was my household, and that was my school, that was my town. Loud and noisy. Peace was unheard of and yet I still yearned for it. Maybe to some, growing up here would be a dream come true. Constant excitement, always something interesting happening everywhere you go. But me, I want peace. I want calm streets, filled with calm people, going about their day in a calm matter. To see peaceful light pretty colors outside my window, rather than the bright neon lights of the city. I stepped out onto my porch and watched as busy people rushed from place to place. With a sigh I plugged in my headphones and walked to school.
~At school~Students jumped around laughing and running about in the classroom, talking with friends and arguing with foes. The teacher wasn't in the room yet so we were able to do whatever. I sat in the back corner of the room and stared out the classroom window. I closed my eyes and began to be swept away by the thought of a peaceful classroom in a peaceful city.
I started to drift off when the sound of Mrs.Gary shook me from my trance.
"Alright, alright, everyone to your seats now, class is starting." She said in her always cheerful voice.
It wasn't hard to tell she loved being a teacher, just as students loved her as a teacher, it was very rare for anyone to ever act up in her classroom.
The class ended with the loud, squeaky, screach of the dismissal bell.
I grabbed my things and started toward my next class...
