Third Person POV
Kris Wu, 18 years old, Chinese and a senior in high school. Tall, athletic, and model worthy. God, you could call him perfection because of his good looks and well off family. He’s the boy that girls drool over, maybe even idolize. Why? He’s the best basketball player at the school, the captain of the basketball team. They’ve all flirted with him and tried to get his attention, but none of those sad ladies were able to score a date with the one and only Kris Wu. Oh, did I mention that he’s gay?
Kris
Homosexual, gay, fag- I’ve heard it all before. But they’re right, I’m everything they’ve called me. But I’m still human, aren’t I? What’s wrong with being gay? School’s tedious when you’re constantly being picked on by the other guys for being one of the only gay students there. I mean, sure, the girls constantly follow me, despite knowing that I’m.. Y’know, gay.
I stood in front of my locker, it was eight in the morning and I still had to collect my books for my first and second period classes. Even then, I had girls at my back, whispering to each other about my looks, my ability to play basketball, the 'utterly sexy' tattoo that I have on my bicep, my everything. With a quiet sigh, I slowly unlocked my locker, making sure to get each combination number before tugging it open. As always, I checked my hair and my skin in the mirror that’s magnetized, letting it stick against my locker.
Making sure my hair was in place (and that my skin was perfect), I reached into the top shelf of my locker and grabbed my chemistry and math books and binders. I cradled the objects in my left arm, holding it close to my chest as I pulled out my cell phone to check the time. 8:10 AM. I blew my bangs away from my face and blinked at the sudden commotion behind me.
“Who’s he?”
“My gosh, he’s cute.”
“I bet he’d go for me.”
That statement caused all the girls to scoff.
“He’s stopping next to Kris’ locker!”
I arched an eyebrow and turned to my left, towards the locker next to mine. There, was a boy, grabbing his books. He was shorter than me by maybe a full foot. His ass was defined in his skinny jeans and he was wearing a red and black plaid, button up shirt. His hair was a dark shade of brown and a bit of a tousled mess, but it was sexy nonetheless. Noticing my stare, I think, he turned to me with a smile and outstretched his hand for me to take.
“Byun Baekhyun, and I’m guessing you’re Kris, right?” This boy, who I now knew the name of, said as I took his hand and shook it. His voice was soft and his lips kinda turned rectangular as he smiled- he looked quite feminine.
I let go of his hand, which might I say was soft, as I replied, “Yeah, you’re right,” I chuckled, wondering as to how he knew me.
“Well, you know my name. I’m a senior and the captain of the basketball team. How’d you know my name?” Baekhyun laughed quietly and motioned towards the girls that were surrounding us. I nodded and rubbed my nape sheepishly, embarrassed at my stupidity. How could I not have figured that out on my own?
Those girls talk about everything revolving me. And I’m guessing Baekhyun now, too. I could hear comments about how cute either Baekhyun or I looked. Even comments as to how we should date.
Date.
Wait, what?
Baekhyun looked up at me, his eyes were a deep brown, “I heard them too. Yes, I’m gay, if you were wondering.”
I was shocked at how blatantly he said it. Usually, it was something we wouldn’t say out loud. Or maybe that’s just me.
He giggled. Did I look stupid? Oh my God, my mouth’s open, isn’t it? Even worse, my fly is. I glanced down for a second, making sure the zipper of my jeans were pulled up, and to some miracle, they were. I looked at Baekhyun, who had an amused smile on his face and opened my mouth to speak. The bell rang before I even made out a sound.
