“Bye Caleb…” Tracy said to Caleb as he was about to leave for the first time to go to his new job. “Bye Tracy.” Caleb said before he walked out of the room. Tracy looked down and smiled a little as she folded towels and clothes. “Hello there Tracy.” George said as he walked in the room with a bag. “Oh...Hi George…” Tracy said. “We’ve come up with a new policy here at the lab. Hand me your arm. It’s a medicine that helps us all fight the disease.” George said smiling with no teeth. “...Oh...ok…” Tracy said as she turned around and faced George and handed him her arm. “Thank you for your corporation.” George said as he cleaned Tracy’s arm and stuck the needle in her arm before she could resist it. “Ow!...Uh...are you giving this to everyone?” Tracy said looking down at her arm. “Everyone.” George said as he took the needle out. Blood emerged from Hailey’s arm as the needle was taken out.

Tracy wiped the blood on her new dark red clothes. She went back to work and tried to not look at her arm, it grossed her out. That's gonna leave a scar, Tracy thought to herself. “Tracy?” George asked as he shut the door. “Yes…” Tracy said as she looked up when she heard the sound of the door close and lock. “You know...my wife's dead now…” George said as he got closer to her. Tracy backed up away from George. “Don’t be shy.” George said as he touched her face. “Get away from me...you old sick creep…” Tracy said nervously. “I feed you, I give you a safe place to sleep, I provide everything for you. You need to provide something for me.” George said smiling. “No….get away from me!” Tracy screamed as she tried to get free. “No! Shut up!” George said. “...You're going to learn to do your part here.” George said. “You're going to do what I tell you to…” George said as he pulled out a gun and held it to Tracy’s head.

“Tracy? You ok in there?” Karen asked as she walked up the door of the room Tracy was in. “Tracy!?” Karen yelled from outside as she heard screams coming from inside. “...Oh my gosh…” Karen said quietly as she backed away from the door. She realized it was too late. Everyone stopped and looked at Karen. “...We gotta get out of this hell…” Jordan mumbled under his breath. Karen looked down at the ground and saw her tears falling on the floor. Everyone took a moment to stand there in silence. After a few seconds everyone went back to work. Back to their ‘jobs’ they were forced to do. Tracy sat in the corner of her room with her knees pulled to her chest. Tears silently ran down her face. “Tracy? Tell me what happened…” Caleb asked. “...It doesn’t matter…” Tracy said through the tears. “No...tell me…” Caleb said as he sat down on the ground against the wall next to her. “I said it doesn’t matter….just stay here with me...make me forget….” Tracy said as she cried into his shoulder.
