Christmas is over ! But, the titles will still start with 'On The ( ... ) Of Christmas, Santa Gave To Me.... ( ... ) ... ' Just to be fancy ~

This chapter is ( hopefully ) going to be an eventful one and ( hopefully !! ) a humorous one. I'm bad at both, but I'm gonna try !!!

The beginning is a bit disappointing and horribly written, in my opinion but I'll try and edit it soon. Comment and tell me how the beginning is to you. I need to know so that I can edit and improve. ;)

On The Ninth Day Of Christmas, Santa gave to Me.. Nine boys with a hangover.

"Yea mum.. Sure.." Mckenna sighs through the phone. "Yes. No, mum... And yea, I loved the presents you guys bought. Thanks alot. No, mum, I didn't...."

Listening to Mckenna talk to her mother is so heartbreaking. Her parents obviously does not care for her as much as they do for her brother. I think his name was Mark? No no.. Melvin.. No.. Oh, I don't know !

Mckenna sighs through the phone so many times. She sounds disappointing and bored. Her mother couldn't care less, I suppose. I need to make Mckenna happy and not allow this stupid phonecall from her far-away family ruin her mood and our day!

"... Yeah. Bye." She hung up. I walk to her and hug her from the back, resting my chin softly on her shoulder.

"Don't be so sad, Mac. Or I'll be sad too." I put on an exagerrated pout.

Mckenna goes on her tippy toes and pecks me on my cheek. "Don't be sad. It's just... They have extended their trip until the tenth of January instead of the sixth. They said something about flights and delays and stuff, but i know that those are all lame excuses. But, on the bright side," she says, grinning, "You'll be with me longer."

I nod. "Yes, I will. Even if your parents are here, I'll still boldly march into this house and sweep you off your feet like a boss. Then, take you back to the HQ," I say. Mckenna laughs. "Which reminds me..." I trail off.

"Yeah?" Mckenna prompts.

"So eager." I chuckle and ruffle her hair. "I was saying, it's about time that I should start you up on some training and maybe let you meet the other pack members. And of course, my sisters." Just the thought of my sisters meeting Mckenna. I shudder. They would be giving my mate various make overs.

"I look forward to meeting everyone. But, I hope that I'll fit in."

I kiss her forehead. "You will, don't worry. With me by your side, you'll have them bowing down at your feet."

Mckenna looks at me in astonishment. "I bet you're very respected."

"No, I'm not," I say, "BUT I can say that I have my moments."

Mckenna rolls her eyes. "Keep dreaming, Adair. Keep dreaming." She pushes me playfully and walks off into the kitchen.

"Hey! You're supposed to be resting!" I protested.

"It has been two days, I can manage!" She yells back from the kitchen. THE KITCHEN ! Oh, damn, that brings back bad bad BAD memories. I run to the kitchen and skidded to a halt when I almost banged into Mckenna. I lose my balance and nearly topple over, but I grab onto the table edge and acted casually.

Hah! Mckenna didn't even see tha-

"I saw that," Mckenna says dryly. Turning around from the sink. She raises and eyebrow at me. "That not completely oblivious, you know."
