Never gonna leave

Ant and Dec were waiting in the camp grounds when they heard someone yell, "CAMPERS!"
Startled, they stood straight and paid attention to the camp director.

"For tonight, you will be exploring the forest, but only within the perimeter. There will be camp counselors around the perimeter in case you get too far." After the director announced that, I noticed Dec excited but scared. I put my hand on his shoulder to reassure him and the director continued, "Campers must proceed to the forest in a buddy-system. Make sure you stay with your buddy no matter what."

"Dec," I started, "do I even have to ask?" I smiled at him.
"Fine, I'll be your buddy" he said smirking at me.

After a few more minutes of instructions, the director gave the word and we were off to the forest.

A minute or so into the forest, i told Dec, "You can hold me hand if you're scared." I said jokingly.

"Ha. Ha. That won't work this time, Anty," he said as he started to move faster and further away.

"Wait for me, Dec!" I yelled, then BAM. I stumbled down upon a root. Luckily, I didn't get seriously wounded. Only a few scratches.

I stood up and realized i was alone. SHIT. DEC!! Where is he?! I frantically searched for him.
I stumbled again several times, but i didn't bother checking myself. I kept searching for him.

I found him sitting under tree, shaking. "DEC!!" I yelled.

"Ant!! Where were you?!" he yelled angrily as he starts to sob.

I ran to him and hugged him tight. "I'm sorry. I stumbled on a root. Next thing i knew, you were gone. I'm so sorry."

"Let go of me! You left me!" He says as he tries to push me away.

"I wont, until you stop shaking" Dec got quiet. I felt him tugged my shirt tight. "I'm so sorry, Dec. Forgive me?"

Dec didn't answer. Instead, he looked up at me. I saw his eyes filled with tears. Then he leaned forward and kiss me. "Don't you ever leave me again. I CANNOT be without you."

"Yes, sir." I said and kissed him. I let Dec free from the hug. "Let's go back to camp."

To my surprise, Dec held my hand tight as we found our ways back.
