What your looking for isn't out there Hiccup but in here...

"Damn it!!!" Hiccup viciously threw the things that where in the table down to the ground, with one swift moment with his arm.
He punched the table with his fist, making his knuckles turn red.

"M-master are you alright." Lumiere looked at Hiccup worriedly.
"Maybe this wasn't a good idea. You aren't-"

"No Lumiere, it's fine, I'm fine." Hiccup let out a shaky breath as he tried to calm himself.
"I'll start working, I don't have much time left." Hiccup picked up his tools that fell to the ground with his sudden outburst.

"You sure master?" Lumiere hopped to the left side of Hiccup, seeing him lean on the table with his arms extended and his head lowered, Lumiere wasn't sure if he should really leave Hiccup down here alone.

"Just go, I'll be fine." The Viking prince replied quietly, a sad tone in his voice.

"Very well." Lumiere started to leave but took one last look at his master and sighed.

It's been 10 hours since Hiccup started working, it did take him time to get use to being comfortable down at the workshop. But since he picked up his tool and started working he couldn't deny the great feeling it felt to be working with his hands again and with what he most loved to do. When he gets into smithery he forgets the outside world and it's only him and his work piece.

He lifted a wooden piece in a shape of a perfect arc. It still needs its touches, I know exactly what. Hiccup swiped his sweat from his forehead with his arm sleeve. He set aside the wooden arc and began to work on a type of metal, dumping it on the hot liquid and taking it out with smithery tongs. Forming it into a specific design.
---------------------------------------------------
Hiccup realized it was going to be dawn in matter of seconds and his transformation would begin soon enough. He hurriedly started to pick up everything and put it into place. He then placed his project and parts of the project in a different table and covered it with a old rag. He had found lying around the workshop .

He locked the door of the work basement and started up the stairs that lead to a little hallway and climbed other stairs that finally went to the main corridor. He hurriedly started back to his room. Dawn broke through the little peaks of the closed curtains, lighting Hiccup's face.

Hiccup felt a sudden change in his body and immediately quicken his pace.

Hiccup managed to get to his room as fast as possible and now he stood in front of a closed window, peeking through, watching the sunrise. Knowing what was bound to happen next.

He felt a electric shock run through his body. At first it pained him to the core but many lonely nights have passed that now he felt nothing...
The only thing that pained him was having this curse.

The shifting started to happen, his body felt the familiar shock and discomfort of the process. He fell to the floor into his knees, head down, and let the energy flow. It was still painful but over the years he gotten use to the feeling that now he felt nothing but numbness.

He did not cry.....flinch....scream....or fight........he did nothing but stay kneeled down with a dead face, and let the monster take over.

His eyes glowed and they slowly turned into slits. His body changed, human flesh leaving, replaced by black scales of a lizard. It was a sight that left you shock, and made you think that there was no way a young man or human that could bear that.
-------------------------------------------------------Merida yawned loudly as she sat up from her bed. She saw sun rays peeking through the curtains. She got up and started to get ready for the day. She was still confused about yesterday, Hiccup leaving all of a sudden, now that she realized Hiccup always seems to disappear before evening hits up. His done that since they meet. There must be some explanation for it but she doubted that Hiccup would tell her.

Once she was done, she headed out her room and started to the dining room. As she entered she automatically smelled something delicious in the air. She walked to the kitchen and when she opened the door the smelled hit her nose more strongly.

"Mmmm what is that smell..its delicious." Merida breath in the delightful smell of the morning breakfast.

"Oh dear, it's just some hot cakes that's all." Mrs. pots giggled.

"Well they must be some heck of hot cakes if they smell this good." Merida chuckled.

"Thank you dear. I'm making them since they are Hiccup's favorite." Mrs. pots suggested.

"Really? But don't dragon usually eat like....meat?" Merida asked curiously.

"Ah...um...well let's just say Hiccup is a little different than most dragons that you think of." Mrs. pots nervously added, trying to cover up.

"You don't have to tell me....these few days I noticed that. Hiccup isn't what he seems. His....different....a good different. Without him knowing he can sometimes be kind. He may be sometimes mean, stubborn, cruel, but there's another side of him I can't figure out...his gentle,compassionate,intelligent,funny....a gentleman I guess if he was human... but....he sometimes retrains himself from doing all that...like he remembers something and backs down and puts this wall between him and others....just like a switch. I just don't...understand that..there's another side of him that he doesn't what others to see...." The ginger head looked down to the ground conflicted in what she just said. Moments later she looked up and looked at the servant with intriguing eyes.
"There must of been something that happen to him in order for him to shut down like that..."

Mrs. Pots didn't know what to say or how to respond to that, afraid to give away the truth but there is one thing she knew. That this young woman was the one....the one to bring light to the once called prince. She was brave, loyal, short temper, fierce but at the same time, smart, tender, kind, adventurous, hopeful....... She was what they all have been waiting for. She was the match for this untamed beast. But they couldn't do anything, it all laid in Hiccup's hand. It was his decision to step in and make it work, they could only watch from the sidelines. Mrs. Pots sighed quietly and watched the girl taste a batch of syrup.

This is the girl...she's the one...this is her Hiccup.....
