A Winter Miracle ✅

~oO My Christmas Miracle Oo~

Who knew so much would happen during this last month. Who knew I would find part happiness and fall in love. It was Christmas night. I was alone by the fire place hugging myself. I felt alone. I thought of what had happened just a few days ago. He liked me. But I told him no. He had stood up for me before. He hugged me and just listened.

How could I have been so stupid to let him go.
He was the Miracle I had hopped for. Yet I was too blind to see that. I knew what I wanted now.

I hoped he would be there and I was right. There he was swinging in the old abandoned park with his jacket on. It was snowing softly and he looked so handsome with the snow falling in him. When he finally saw me he shot up from the swing falling face forward on the ground. Making me laugh a little.

"What are you doing here?" He said dusting the snow of himself.

"I changed my mind."

"About what." He said.

"About your question."

"Oh."

"You see I was blind enough to realize you were my miracle I've been hoping for. I knew I had strong feelings for you. But when you told me you did as well my mind went well blank."

"What I'm trying to say is I love you." I said. The words finally came out and I felt a huge pound of weight of my shoulders.

"That's all I needed to hear." He said before he came and kissed me. I've waited for so long to find someone who would care for me and show me love. I hoped my parents were looking from above and I hoped they were proud of who I have become.

He pulled away and looked at me with his amazing ocean blue eyes and said," I love you too. You don't know how happy you've made me."

I giggled and we headed hand in hand all the way to my house. There we sat by the fire place cuddling. We told stories and joked around. He was mine. When I needed a shoulder to cry on he was there. When I needed to talk to someone he listened. He was not only my friend but my lover. He was my Winter Miracle.

"I love you." We both said in unison.
