That day it all began, it was a weird one
A fourteen year old girl was running down the street, with her bright purple hair flowing in the wind.
"Jeez! The wind's so strong today!" She complained. Suddenly, she felt herself tripping up. Out of the cotner of her eyes, she saw a black rabbit, with an indigo hair clip. The girl slowly pulled herdelf back up."You're so pretty!" Her eyes sparkled, as she gently picked up the rabbit. She hugged it, when she heard something weird.
"Thank you~" The young girl looked at the rabbit.
"Eh?! Did you say that?!" The rabbit giggled.
"Of course I did! Who do you think I am?! And before you answer, I'm Luea, the Jewelpet of truth!" The girls eyes sparkled.
"A real life Jewelpet?! Amazing! I'm Star, nice to meet you!" Luea had this weird look on her face.
"Where have I heard that name before?..." She mumbled. Star was confused.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing, nothing. Anyway, I'm here to invite you to the Jewel Palace!" Star was taken aback.
"The Jewel Palace?! The school where Lady Jewel is chosen?! Me?! Why?!" Luea looked at Star, a little worried.
"You know, I don't usually choose my partners so care-freely. You just had this nice aura that I liked. You really should be thankful. Plus, I've gotten your parents confirmation!"
"You're serious... I'm going to Jewel Palace, huh? Might be fun!"
Star POV
I stood in this icy field, surrounded by other girls my age. They all looked so graceful, I didn't feel like I belonged there."Luea, are you sure it's me you were looking for?" Luea looked confused, but then nuzzled my cheeks.
"I'm positive! After all, you shine brightly like a star, just like your name suggests!" I cuddled her back.
"I sure hope what you're saying is true."
Suddenly a lady with golden hair appeared in front of the crowd. She smiled, as everyone's eyes sparkled.
"Lady Jewelina~" Many voices said, all apart from one. A girl with red hair sighed, with a cat in her shoulder.
"Gokigenyo, minna-san. I'm Lady Jewelina, and I welcome you to the Jewel Palace! This is where your life as a spectacular lady will begin! May you have eternal courage and hope, as you enter into the world of Jewelpet! Remember, any girl can become a wonderful lady!"
I looked at her, enchanted. Any girl? Did this include me?
"Now, minna-san, your mentors shall now give you a Letter Pen. Then you shall be trasported to the Jewel Palace, where you shall do your first task." She curtsyed, as she slowly faded away. Luea placed a purple pen into my hand.
"Is this what she was talking about?" Luea nodded.
"Lady go!" I felt myself float in the air. Then, I floated down. The ice started melting, as Spring came into view. My eyes sparkled, as I gently floated on my feet. The girl with red hair done it especially amazingly, and had everyone gazing at her. She waved at them, and walked off. Luea tapped on my shoulder, signalising that we were to go too. I nodded.
"Luea and Star! Lady Go!" Luea tapped three times on a thing called a Jewelpod as she said that, and I tapped on mine three times. Suddenly, two beams shot into the sky, fused together, and shot right through me! Suddenly, I spun around, glowing purple, and a dress that you'd see a princess wear appeared on me! I grabbed Luea's hand and we posed together.
"Fumumu" Luea said, as she nuzzled my cheek. I teleported to a grand hall. A lady with ginger hair stood on stage."Gokigenyo, Minna-san! I am Lady Ichigo, nice to meet you! For your first task, I would like to hand you over to Lady Mai." The ginger haired girl said, as the light shifted to a blue haired girl.
"Gokigenyo, ladies. Your task today will be: Ladies to be should be able to face difficult situations with grace. Good luck."
Luea got out the letter oen, and reapeated those same words again.
"Lady, go!" She drew out a piano path, as I ran on it. My red ribbon was duplicated, and the fake version flew away (towards the screen).
"It's soooo hot here, Luea~" I moaned, slumping down. We were suddenly in the middle of a really hot desert.
"This gets you? Are you really fit to be a lady?" A male voice said. I looked up, and a guy with white hair was looking at me, unimpressed. I was confused, until I remembered how Luea had said Ladies and Princes done tasks together. I stood up, and sighed.
"I don't think I am, really. I mean, look at me! I'm not a lady, I'd be terrible at it..." Luea looked at me sadly, and cuddled me. I cuddled her back.
The boy looked back at me, even more unimpressed."You won't ever become a lady with that attitude. The more negative you are, the further away from becoming a lady you really are." I looked at him, inspired.
"Yeah, that's right. What's your name? I'm Star!"
"I'm Shiro. Nice to meet you, Star. Was that the difficult situation, then?" I dhook my head.
"I doubt it. It's probably to get out of this desert, don't you think?"
"Yeah, probably." I spun infront of him. Then, I noticed. Somehow, I was wearing my normal attire again. It was a shame. I liked my princess outfit.
"So, how are we going to that?" Shiro asked. Hm, how were we going to do it?
"Maybe we should just walk. After all, there's no way that this desert lasts forever!" Luea gave me a doubtful look, but allowed us to start walking. So, the long walk had begun.
"So, Shiro, you wan't to become King, right? Why do you want that?" Shiro paused, and I started blushing.
"G-gomen! Sorry for being nosy!" I blurted out, and looked away. My heart was pounding, I didn't know why.
"Eh, it's okay." We carried on walking. I turned to Luea.
"I accidently made everything awkward! Now what am I going to do?" I whispered into her ears, panicing. What if he didn't like me?! I wanted to make friends here, not enemies.
"If he doesn't like you Star, he isn't worth it." She whispered back into my ear. Shiro pretended he hadn't heard anything.
"Yeah, you're right!" I replied, happy. Luea knew me well already. Though it didn't help the fact that I didn't want any enemies.
"Hey, we're running out of time, why don't we dance?" Shiro looked at me.
"Eh?! H-how will dancing help us?!" I stuttered.
"Just trust me, it will." Shiro pulled me towards him, taking me by surprise, and causing me to fall on him. My face was bright red. After a while, I pulled myself back up.
"Y-you done that on purpose, didn't you?!" Shiro chuckled.
"You have a good eye. Hey, you're spacing out a bit." It's true, I was.
"I-it's just that, when my parents first met, something like this happened to them too. Why did you have to do this to me?!"
"Well, it worked, did it not?" Shiro replied, as a bell went off.
I was back in the Grand Hall, with my Princess Dress back on. Shiro was no where to be seen.
"Luea, what happened?" Luea's eyes were shining.
"You passed!" She nuzzled my cheek, as I stroked her.
