The Boy Who Cried

You may have heard of the boy who cried wolf right?
But have you ever heard of the boy who cried?
No? Well I'll tell you...

In a small village a boy lived atop a hill. This boy lived all alone.

One day the boy cried very loudly, the villagers alarmed ran up the hill.

When they got there they saw the boy outside crying.

"What's wrong? " they asked.

"I'm sad" replied the boy.

But they did not believe him. It may have been because he always seemed happy or because he never complained. But whatever the reason they did not believe him.

So they left believing he lied.

The next day they heard another cry. Again they ran up the hill. When they got to the top they saw the boy crying.

"What's wrong?" They asked .

"I'm lonely" replied the boy.

The villagers once again did not believe him. They had seen him with many people. They assumed they were his friends.

What they didn't know was that those 'friends' bullied him.

So they left once again believing he lied.

The next day they heard another cry. However this time no one went up the hill. They all believed he would 'lie' again.

Soon the cries stopped.

Two days later they grew worried. In those two days they heard nothing of the boy who lived atop the hill.

That day they went up to his small house. They heard nothing.

They climbed up the stair up to the boy's room. They opened the door to his room they saw nothing. One of the villagers went to his closet. There hanging from a rope was the boy who cried....

That is the story of the boy who cried.
