Chapter Fifteen: Trouble Prt. 2

The song just fits how Undyne is,feeling during the last part of the chapter.

(Alphys'POV)

"So how are you and Undyne doing Alphys?" Toriel asked me as I was helping her cook while Frisk and Sans were in her room sleeping. Papyrus was also on his Royal Guard duties. 'I heard that you two are dating now.' I almost spit out my tea. How did she find out? 'Oh my child don't worry. I'm just happy for you both. Sans told me all about what's been happening for the last few weeks." I put my cup of tea down and looked at it.

"So you know a-a-about Lydia?' Toriel frowned as she nodded her head. 'I have t-t-to ask, how much did s-s-she hurt Undyne?' It was Tori's turn to look away and sighed.

"How the tea?" She said dodging the question.

"Toriel, please t-t-tell me. I know it's a t-t-touchy subject, just I w-w-want see what I'm up a-a- against if I w-w-were to... fight her." Tori stopped drinking her tea and put it down.

"Undyne won't allow her anywhere near you Alphys. You already know that my child. Lydia, is a very powerful monster... and very dangerous." I looked at her and I could see how scared she was. 'All I'm going to say is, not all those scars are from fighting. Lydia tortured her, almost even killed her... that's one person Undyne can never be around... it cases her too much pain... and brings back memories that she rather forget, I rather to forget... maybe one day she'll tell you, but please don't force her to relive those memories.' She said with a frown on her face. 'I know she's been blacking out more and the only person that can stop them now are you Alphys. Sans told me about what happened earlier today. Undyne feels safe when you're around, she hears your voice and she stops. Before she met you Sans was the only other person who could help. How do you know how to do that? " I looked down. The reason why I know how to do that is because I would black out from time to time when I was doing experiments. I brought myself out of my own because I had no one there to help, but I wouldn't tell Tori that.

"I don't care how d-d-dangeroues it is, all I do k-k-know is I want to h-h-help her and p-p-protect her... I don't k-k-know why, but I am b-b-becoming protective o-o-over her and I've n-n-never felt like this b-b-before... I'm scared I-I-I'll lose her...' I said trying hard not to cry about losing the one person I loved. Something was off just now, because how quite it got.

Then out of nowhere Lydia showed up. Tori went into action, but with one hit she was down. I stood frozen in my seat as Lydia looked at me. She smiled and I felt my heart beat faster in my chest. Her eyes were a dark purple.

"Alphys, isn't it?' She asked in a harsh tone. 'I'm Lydia, nice to meet you." She got closer to me and grabbed me by my throat and lifted me up into the air.

I couldn't move and I could barely breathe. I tried to loosen her grip from my throat, but it was useless. She threw me into a glass window as my head hit the glass. I fell to my knees as my glasses creaked and fell to the ground. She grabbed me again and picked me up again as she slammed my head against the wall. I couldn't do anything, I couldn't move, speak or scream it was like my whole body was frozen.

"Heh you'll be easier to kill then I thought." She said, but I gathered up all my strength and I kicked her in the face as she let me go. I could breath again and that's when I yelled, but she put her hand over my mouth. 'Shhh, no one is going to hear you, not even Sans. It's only me and you." She laughed as she started to torture me.

I screamed in pain as the knife ripped through my arm, leg, shoulder and side. My eyes were getting blurry and I couldn't really see well. All I knew was, I was in pain.

"UNDYNE! HELP ME! S-S-SOMEONE PLEASE! HELP ME! " I finally screamed out, but nobody came.

That's when I felt someone behind me. There was no more pain, no more laughing. All I heard was Undyne's and Lydia's voice. They were faded, but that could be because my hearing was fading in and out.
