His crystal blue orbs scanned the streets of his degraded hometown, the constant downpour layering murky sheets of water across the pavement, drooping into the numerous cracks in the pavement, his gaze dropped to his Fallout Boy rucksack, crammed with his band tees and ripped skinny jeans, his worn guitar slumped across his front, he sighed sliding his hand through his mid-night black locks, Therapy by All Time Low rang through his ears 'Wow low blow spotify, freaking ironic.', His eyes shut slowly as he slumped against the window as the rhythmic drum of rain pounded the thin roof.

Tap... Tap... Tap ... Slender fingers tapped against his shoulder pulling him back from his exhaustion fuelled nap, he winched at the touch, having bad memories of human contact, he brushed his bangs out of his eyes monotonously bringing his gaze up trailing her long brown hair before meeting her dazzling stare with his own sleepy gaze, her emerald eyes highlighted by the thick black glasses drawing his full attention to her. He pulled his earbuds out prompting her to start speaking. "Uhhh... Hey... Can I Umm... Sit here?" The brunette asked timidly, her voice like silk. He shuffled along the barely padded seat quickly dropping his gaze from the mysterious girl. He grabbed his guitar and slotted his headphones into the jack. He composed himself as his fingers strummed softly at the strings, expertly playing the chords of 'Let her go' By Passenger, He softly sung the lyrics, heads turned dismissively towards him as he continued to sing, some people seemed relatively nonchalant about the whole thing and turned away again. As his fingers glided over the final notes, inaudible sobs came from the girl next to him, and he quickly shot worried looks at her. He brushed her fringe away from her eyes and tilted her head up to meet his. "Hey... um... Are you okay? I mean... umm..." He was cut off as the bus jolted forwards crashing his lips into hers, he pulled back and a startled look started played across his face. They both turned crimson and were at a loss for words. 'Shit. Shit. Shit, first day back and already I've fucked up. Typical.' He cursed himself mentally, cursing himself under his breath.

'Uhh... My name is Ashley Whitlock... Just to... Um... Let you know.' The girl whispered out, her voice low and breathless. And then it hit him 'Holy shit.'.
