Chapter 1

''Schhh... It's all going to be okay sweetheart'' I mumbled to Katinka, my 10 days old darkbrown foal who desperatly screamed after her mom Hazel who suddently died in colic earlier this evning. I had been with Hazel ever since I heard about that she was sick and would probably not survive and when she died my heart broke when Katinka came into my mind, she was too small! I hate the sound of a desperate foal who just lost her mother, because it reminds me of my lost and why I'm actually here lost without a real family.

The stable was all dark and I could smell hay from the corner I sat in with Katinkas head in my arms. I heard the other horses from their boxes and that made me just more sad that they didn't understand what was happening and why there where people running around there, and why it suddently became all quiet and everyone dissapeared.

"You're going to do all well" I mumbled to my beautyful foal and tried to feed her one more time but she refused to even taste the milk I was trying to give her with a bottle.

''Lisa, Dinner is ready!'' A voice screamed from the house next to the stable and broke the silent.

''I'm comming!'' I answered before I huged Katinka a last time and looked straight to her blue, big eyes and whispered how much I love her in her ears. She wouldn't survive the night without her mum if she didn't eat so my tears just kept comming down my cheeks when I looked into her eyes a last time, put her head down exited the box, heard her scream and closed the stable door.

I left the stable and ran up to my room and changed to my lightblue sweather with the text "Swag" on. I matched that with a pair of black ripped jeans because my new family didn't like when I smelled too much horse around the dinningtable and because I had no time to shower, it was better than my old clothes that now smelled more horse than ever.

My room was pretty much a mess, not that nice modern teenage room with everything white that it was when I came here 2 weeks ago but I didn't care because I was sure that I one more time would be re-placed, as always so why don't give them some work when they still are sending me away?

This evning was mostly like the other evnings, welcome to my interesting life! Wohooo....

At school

"Lisaa!" I heard someone scream my name when I steped out from the yellow school bus so I turned around and saw my two best friends, sort of my only friends too, Claudia and Isac who also where siblings (Isac was 1 year and 4 month older than Claudia) walk against me. they had been my best friends ever since I came to this city around 4 years ago and they had always supported me when I moved from family to family.

"Hello strangers!" I smiled and gave Claudia a hug.

"What's up guurl?" Isac asked and high fived me

"I guess I'm fine, just a bit tired that's all, Hazel died yesterday and Katinka didn't make the night...how about you?" I looked down on the ground and felt sad over the lost of my two new family members.

"Oh nooo! I'm I'm sorry for that Lisa, I really am!" Isac said and huged me tightly and I couldn't avoid to let a tear once again fall down my cheek when tha both horses came into my mind.

Our school buses alwats arrived 30 minutes too early so we searched after a tree or something that could give us some protection from the sun on this warm day just until school started. Students where everywhere and you could hear people scream and laugh from every diffrent angels of the yard.
