Andy was your average 9-year-old boy. He had a grand imagination and was always having a blast. His favorite thing to do in the whole wide world was to visit his grandfather who lived a few blocks away. Whenever he had the chance, Andy would make the short trip and spend the whole day with him. His parents would always ask why he loved spending time at his grandfather's place and he would always respond with such imaginative answers.

On one occasion, Andy's grandfather built a full-size pirate ship in his house. Together they sailed the seven seas and even looked for loot all around the house. It was so much fun. On another occasion, his grandfather built a giant spaceship and they both went searching for life on other planets. When Andy would tell his parents of his daily adventures, his parents seemed a little worried. I mean, they liked the fact that Andy loved to spend time with his grandfather, but found it a bit peculiar about the things that they did. This went on for quite some time, and Andy would always have the time of his life.

One day, Andy went over to see his grandfather, and this time, he had built a full-size castle. Together they played knights and dragons and Andy was in charge of slaying the dragon. Hours went by and Andy's parents were very worried. Andy eventually came home and told both his parents about the adventures he had. His parents once again became very worried and decided to take Andy to see the doctor. "Why do I need to see the doctor," said Andy.

"Just for a checkup", responded his mother.

"Ok, that sounds good", thought Andy. Andy didn't think anything of the doctor's visit. I mean, he had not seen a doctor in quite some time anyway so why not.

At the doctor's visit, Andy was asked a serious of questions. It really did not seem like a checkup more like a questionnaire. Andy told the doctor about all his adventures. And the doctor just laughed in amazement and told Andy's parents that he was a healthy young man. The only thing he prescribed was vitamins to make Andy strong so that he could play for longer periods of time. Andy really liked the news. He loved playing with his Grandfather, and if these vitamins will make him play for longer, then that was alright with him.

A week passed, and Andy took his vitamins like clockwork. Andy did notice that the vitamins would make him feel a little funny. He didn't get the burst of energy the doctor promised and he would kind of feel groggy and tired. "I must be catching a cold," thought Andy and he continued on with his fun-filled day.

He started walking towards his grandfather's house and started to notice many things he did not notice before. He noticed how dirty the streets were and how many homeless people were sleeping on them. He spotted lots of old broken down cars and shady people standing around looking suspicious. He came to the corner right before his grandfather house and was asked by a man "You want to buy some weed", "no thank you", he responded and he went on his way. As he approached his grandfather house he was shocked. The house his grandfather lived in was no longer there. Somehow it seemed that his grandfather's land had been sold and all he could see was a hospital of some sort.

Andy was very confused. He didn't know what to do so he decided to enter the facility and ask for his grandfather. When he entered he was approached by an older woman. "Andy, good to see you again", she said.

"How do you know my name", responded Andy.

"Hahaha you are such a kidder you", she responded. "Here, let me take you to your grandfather, we just switched him rooms," she said.

"Switched him rooms"? Andy did not know what was going on but he followed the woman to his grandfather. When Andy arrived, he did not find his grandfather, what he did find was a sick old man on a bed looking awfully sad.

"Grandfather what happened"? the woman looked at Andy for a moment and then asked him if he was going to read him a story like he always does. Andy could not explain what was happening. Just a week ago they were both running around and playing knights, pirates, and spacemen. "Are you ok Andy", asked the woman.

"No, I'm not okay" responded Andy and he stormed out of the facility with tears of confusion. Andy's whole world was crumbling down. At one point he thought he was dreaming but he could not wake up. Was this a nightmare or was someone playing a trick on him? His mind raced 1000 miles per second and as he tried running home out of nowhere he heard the sound of a loud horn.

The last thing Andy saw was headlights and the worried face of a young driver. Andy was hit so hard that his body ended up far from the point of impact. Paramedics rushed to the scene but it was too late. Andy was gone. The 9-year-old imaginative fun loving kid had been killed running through traffic like a madman.

His parents were stricken with grief and were questioned by authorities. As they looked for clues all around the house the only thing they found was empty pill bottles that read Clozaril, take 1 pill a day, prescribed to Andy Reed: Prescribing Doctor, Dr. Allen Grey.
