Helen:

On Monday, I headed down the crowed hallway until I met up with Achilles at his locker.

"Hey" I smiled.

"Hey" he smiled back.

God he looked so cute when he smiled.

"Hey do you why Hera's wearing that hat?" I pointed to Hera who for some reason was wearing a hat with her hair tucked into it.

"Maybe" he said with a smirk.

At that point I realized he was hiding something.

"Did you do something to her hair?" I asked.

"Oh nothing much" he smirked "I just pretended I was a French hair dresser and added random colors of hair dye into her hair, it's not big deal."

"You did what?" I gasped.

"Yeah" he chuckled "It happened on Saturday, I had to go to the spa with my mom and I spotted Hera there, and when she couldn't see me, I did what I had to do to, it was so worth it."

"So you made Hera's hair all colorful?" I said surprised.

"I told Glinda about it" he said as he looked at Hera "And there she goes."

I turned and watched as Glinda sneakily went over to Hera behind her, and quickly pulled the hat off her head revealing her hair. Everyone gasped when they saw that her hair was completely colored in different colors here and there. Oh my God, she looked like a rainbow. She then gave a scream as she ran off.

"You're welcome" Achilles chuckled.

"Wow" I said amused "That was impressive."

"Well she deserved it" he smirked as we headed down the hall.

During class, I was suppose to be taking notes, but I couldn't stop thinking about Achilles. I can't believe he actually ruined Hera's hair, why didn't I think of that? Oh wait I'm suppose to be taking notes, not thinking about Achilles. Oh my God, I seriously have to stop thinking about Achilles, I needed to focus on my work. Well that's what you get for being in love.

Achilles:

Why didn't I tell Helen the reason I ruined Hera's hair? I couldn't get it out, I don't know why. But maybe it wasn't important. After school, I was suppose to meet up with Helen in the front, so I waited for her on the steps while doodling in my sketchbook. I was finishing up the drawing of Helen by adding more details, things were going good until my sketchbook was suddenly snatched out of my hand, I looked up and just as I thought, Randy.

"Well would you look at that?" he smirked as his friends looked at my drawing "He's drawing that Helen girl."

"I am not" I scowled as I stood up.

"It is her" one of his friends grinned while looking at my drawing "That must mean he likes her."

I tried to grab my sketchbook back but Randy pulled it away.

"Oh what's the matter?" he said with sarcasm "Afraid that I'm gonna ruin your drawing on your girlfriend?"

"She's not my girlfriend" I growled as I tried to grab my sketchbook but he pulled it away.

"You got that right" Randy smirked as he tossed my sketchbook to another of his friends.

Pretty soon it became a game of catch the sketchbook, Randy and his crew kept tossing my book to each other while I tried to grab it.

"Come and get it loser" Randy chuckled as he suddenly threw my sketchbook onto the road.

But what it worse was that he threw it in front of a running car as it ran over my sketchbook.

"NO!" I screamed when I saw my sketchbook laying on the road all ruined.

"Wow" Randy chuckled "Didn't expect that to happen."

And with that he and his crews gave chuckles as they left. I quickly ran over to my sketchbook to see that it was completely ruined. The pages have been teared and had wheel marks all over them, all my artwork was now destroyed, even the one of Helen. I felt my eyes began to water, those assholes, they destroyed the last gift my father gave to me before he left.

"Achilles" I suddenly heard Helen call as I quickly calmed myself so she wouldn't see my teary eyes "What happened?"

"Randy happened" I frowned while hiding my tears.

"Oh my God" she gasped at my sketchbook "Your sketchbook."

I gave a sigh as I stood up while holding onto my sketchbook and the loose pages.

"Guess I can't draw in this anymore" I sighed as I went over to a trash can and threw it in.

I felt my heart ache after throwing it away.

"I'm sorry" Helen said sadly as she rubbed my shoulder.

"It's okay" I sighed "I mean it's just a sketchbook."

"But it was the one your father gave you before he, you know."

"I know" I mumbled "But what's the point, it's not like I'm gonna see him again."

"Don't say that."

"It's true, my dad left because he fell for another women, he didn't want to be with my mom anymore. He doesn't want to see her, he doesn't want to see me, and I don't want to see him."

It was true, I remember the night I heard my parents arguing because my mother found out that my dad's been having an affair with another women from his job. I was suppose to be sleeping, but I couldn't help but overhear. I couldn't believe my dad would do that, I thought he was a good guy, I thought he loved my mother, turns out I was wrong.

"Hey" Helen placed her hand on my shoulder "It's gonna be okay."

I appreciated her saying that, she's always been there for me.

"Tell you what?" she added "Why don't you come over for dinner at my place?

"What?"

"I mean, there's that Physics test coming up, maybe we can study together."

I gave a small smile.

"Alright" I said.

"Well let's go then" she smiled as we headed to my car.

This is why I like Helen, she's so generous. And even if my father isn't there for me, at least Helen is.
