It was a warm sunny day in new haven where the kids at preach tech where getting out of AP tests and getting the good grades in. There was one kid who worked harder then the others his name is mike walker. His parents where split (so he thought) and he has to deal with lots of temptation every day.
"I did not think that I would be able to get a good grade on the text," said mike.
"You already get the good grades, u knew that u where going to get an A. What you doing after school?"said James, Mike's best friend.
"My dad is picking me up but I'm going to be at home ,why?"
"Nah I was just wondering.But text me then come over."
"Ight I will. Hey dad how are you?"
"I am good! Let me get you home."(David- mikes dad)

My dad was the best. He is a lawyer with his own practice. He and my mother split up a few years back and that was really crazy because they loved each other in my eyes. I am expecting an acceptance to an internship that I really want but if not the I will just work with my dad.
"Hi mom how was ur day?"
"It was fine did you pass the test?"said Ruth.
"Yeah I missed 2 but I still did good. Bye dad I'm going to see u tomorrow right?"
"Yeah son you will" he says as mike walks away.
"And I hope u keep that promise! don't you ever lie to my son! this will be the second time u lied to him!"
"I am going to try my best to make it. You. Know that I have been taking more hrs. We have a case on and I can't miss my meetings with the client."
Mike walks back in getting ready to leave.
"Hey mr. where you going?" said Ruth.
"Remember I am going to James house tonight."
"Ok be safe"
"I will my mom, bye dad"
"So would you like some dinner?" (Ruth)
"Sure and Ruth I'm sorry I cheated on you. U didn't deserve that."
"Thank you that means a lot. I made all ur favorites."
"Ruth that is not what I want for dinner"
"Well then what do you want?"
"I just want some cake"
"Well I don't have that"
"Nah let me show you what I mean!"
David got up and looked into Ruth's eyes. He said to her that he never stopped loving her. He gave her a kiss that she would never forget. This is what lead her a a road off temptation where the devil attacks hard.
