Missing

                                               CHAPTER 1

"Hey Char!" I said

"Hey girl!"

"There's a party at Steve's tomorrow night wanna go?" I asked while reaching in the fridge and getting an apple.

"Maybe, I have a lot of homework and my mom said if I don't get a good score on my test tomorrow then I'm grounded for 2 months." Abby said looking worried.

"YOU HAVE TO GET A GOOD GRADE! If you don't that means the whole party will be boring... unless Luke is there...!"

Luke is a guy at my school... I like him and he likes, but I'm not what you'd call... cool. Me and Luke would date but he said it would ruin his reputation, and I understand that... he's the most popular kid in school. Aside from Brandon, Abby's boyfriend. Abby is my best friend and Brandon is her boyfriend and Luke is his brother. Now that we have that covered, let's get back to the conversation.

"I'm trying but you keep interrupting me!!" I knew by the look in her eyes she was trying to mentally tell me to screw off.

"Fine I'll go, I'll be in your room." I looked at her, took a bite of my apple and walked away like a super model. Which of course caused her to laugh.

When I got up to her room my phone started to buzz... it was Luke!

*Hey, I know we said we wouldn't but... Do you wanna go out with me?*

Oh my god. Really?!?! Did he just ask me out? What do I say... I don't want to just text him "yes", I have to play it cool. "Wait, Abby!" I grabbed my phone and ran down stairs. I looked at her with a big smile and shouted.

"HE ASKED ME OUT, HE ASKED ME OUT... AHHH!!!"

Abby responded with "Wait what, he asked you out... what did you say?"

"Nothing yet I came to ask you." I said hopefully!

"Say yes!"

I took her advice and sent him a message back. *Umhhh sure :)* Oh my god, I'm dating Luke! for some reason this all feels like a dream. Then all of a sudden reality hit me. *Oh sorry Char, that was Brandon...* I guess dreams DON'T come true. I felt sad and mad but not really shocked, since this has happened about a million times I should have probably seen it coming.

"It was just Brandon..." I said to Abby with a "I hate your boyfriend" look on my face.

"I'm gonna kill him." Abby sad with revenge in her eyes.

"No! It's fine, just let it go."

She knew it wasn't fine, but I left before she could say anything more.

If I was Abby I would take revenge on Brandon too, but if she did that means that Brandon would get mad and say it was just a joke. Then they would get in to a big fight, and later on realize that they hate each other, then break up.

Which then would cause her to get really sad and Brandon would tell Luke everything, and involve me. So this whole fight would cause me and Luke to stop talking, so I would just come right back to the sadness that I'm in right now.

I walked into my house and got a text from Luke. *Hey did you actually mean it when you said yes?* I didn't really want to talk to him right now but I did anyways. *Idk but I can't talk, see you at school.*

I didn't want to say that but what else was I supposed to say... " yes I did and I loveeee you sooo much. be mine!!" As much as I would love to, I can't. I mean what if I was Brandon again, and what if I said that and he told the whole school and everyone made fun of me. speaking of school what am I going to do on Monday or at Steve's party, what if they see me. What do I do?!
