Chapter Two

a/n : please excuse any stupid mistakes :) and pictures of Elisa at the side :D

We walked up to an empty table in the food court. Since Elisa had a long flight, and Aunt Dani and I waited for so long for her plane to arrive, we decided to have lunch before we head shopping in the mall.

"So what should we eat?" Elisa asked as she sat down across from us. I studied my sister.

Elisa was twenty four year old. She had short brown hair like me and today she was wearing a unique black and white dress. She looked a bit like me expect her body was a bit more slimmer, and less chubbiness on her face than me, Also, she wore make up that would fit her perfectly. She was basically the attractive sister. She's deeply passionate in the arts of fashion, so she's an upcoming fashion designer. She attends a University in Florida, and she has a job in a small shop where they take her designs.

"What should we eat?" Elisa asked

Without thinking, Aunt Dani and I shouted out.

"MCDONALDS!" slamming our fists on the cold stone table.

Elisa scrunched up her eyebrows, and gave us a disapproving looking. I love McDonald's, it's the best fast food restaurant in the world. Some other might disagree, but that's because they're lost.

"It's a little fatty don't you guys think? Maybe we should go for something healthier, like that Vegan Place" Elisa reasoned as she pointed behind us to a section that only had 2 or 3 people standing in lines.

"Veee-gaan-nerr?" Dani stretched pronouncing the word as she squinted her eyes to read the restaurant name.

"Yup" Elisa assured.

Aunt Dani and I turned to look at each other with confusion, and turn to face Elisa who looked emotionless, as we stared at her in disgust.

"What?" She asked giving us a confuse look back

"Um, Elisa dear , I don't think that's the best choice" Aunt Dani said politely , forcing a small smile.

Elisa shrugged, " I don't know, I mean McDonalds is full of calories"

Wait, she hates McDonalds, favoring vegan places and worry about calories. It all adding up now.

"No, no, no Elisa! Please don't tell me you're one of those healthatics who goes to the gym every week, and eat healthy and all that" I begged her desperately while I grabbed her hands

"I am actually, staying healthy and fit matters a lot to me." she admitted as she gave me a questioning look.

"NO!" I fling my arms in the air, and hugged my aunt and shoved my face into her shoulders earning a few looks from people around us. Elisa gave people an apologetic look, and they went back to their own conversations

"Aunt Dani , she's going to force me to be h- h- h- HEALTHY!, MEANING NO MEAT!, AND EXCERCING TWENTY FOUR SEVEN!!" I cried in her shoulders

"OH NOO! Oh poor my sweet Ariel! How could you do this to my precious little diamond!" Dani played along as she stroked my hair, whispering everything is going to be okay. Elisa rolled her eyes at our foolish behaviors.

"Don't worry you fools, Jared eats a whole lot, so I am going to be cooking some meat, not for myself though. And the exercising part, hmm maybe" she joked, but somehow I knew she was partially serious.

"Well, that's good since I know my little Ariel here is going to survive" teased while pitching my cheeks. "Ow!" I pouted and swatted her hands away.

"But Ms. Elisa, I am sorry, but you are going to eat from McDonalds today if you like it or not" My aunt boldly affirmed crossing her arm over her chest.

My sister groaned in defeat knowing that there was no way she could argue her way out of it.

"Fine, I'll go for their stinking salad" she muttered

"Yes!, that's more like it" Dani cheered and clapped.

"How 'bout you Ariel?" Aunt Dani asked

"Hmm, how abouttt, 20 pieces of chicken nuggets, 2 big macs, 1 chicken wrap, a large fries, and a diet coke to smooth it out" Elisa had complete horror in her face after I finished my order.

"You call THAT 'smoothing it all out', with just a diet soda?!" She said in shock as she air quoted "smoothing it all out".

" It's a DIET soda" I confirmed while crossing my arms, challenging my sister.

"I say go for it, it's your last day anyway. Well, I'll go order our food" Aunt Dani encouraged "Okay!" I agreed and gave a huge smiled

"So we have a stinkin salad, and a buffet selection. Got it" Dani confirmed as she got up and left us walking towards the McDonald's counter.

"So how's your boyfriend?" I asked, as I turn to face Elisa starting a conversation.

"Oh! Jared?, he's great! He's planning on taking me and a few friends to Disney World for my 25th birthday this year."

She answered while playing with her wavy brown hair, showing a dreamy smile.

"That's right! You're birthday's coming up so soon! I got your present and everything" I lied, as I did my best to remember when her birthday actually is.

She rolled her eyes She gave me a mr a glare

"What" I asked innocently

"Do you even know when my birthday is?" she sighed, shaking her heads.

"No, I completely forgot" I gave up

"Well, It's next month on March 24th, 2014, uh duh" she said in an rude tone.

I furrowed my eyebrows together. I don't get couples sometimes. They were always so.... .What's the word. How about "togetherness". It would annoy me deeply. For example the girl would always make it like, her guy the best person alive. Unlike most people, I got a taste of reality.

Girls always believed in those cheesy stories and believed it will happen to them.

I was able to sort out "Prince in Shining Armor will come and save them" , or "The good girl and falling in love with the bad boy" or even " The pop singer is going to fall in love with a nobody" was all fantasy. Sorry to break it down to ya, but it's a 2.53% chance.

"It's just the beginning of February, and we're only like 7 days into it? Why plan so early?" I asked as I rolled my eyes.

Yeah. Couple these days

"He said something about wanting the day to be perfect and all that. He's so charming and thoughtful! I am just so lucky to find him, or my whole world would just be nothing if I didn't" Elisa rambled on about her boyfriend. The more I heard, the more I felt nauseous

"Ugh, Aunt Dani, please come quick" I groaned quietly as my sister continued to ramble on about her boyfriend.
