I woke up on the floor, apparently I had got a little carried away while playing with Junior last night. Stretching out and finally opening my eyes to the bright morning rays that peered through the living room window I notice Junior knocked out opposite me on the floor and Lacey asleep on the couch.
We definitely had a fun night based on the image I woke up to. I smile to myself then take a picture with my phone, because it'll last longer. The title of that picture would likely read 'The results of spending a Saturday night the Right Way.'
"Hey, I'm heading out," I gently wake Lacey up to let her know I was leaving.
She stretches and checks the time, "Hey, why don't you come with us to church," she asks and rubs at her eyes.
"Okay, sounds good," I say needing little to no convincing. "But I get to shower first," I challenge noticing something blue mysteriously sticking to my arm. Lacey laughed but didn't protest.
Lacey had left some clothes out for me when I was done with my shower. Thank goodness for best friends that wear the same size.
As I walked out the bathroom the smell of breakfast engulfed my senses. I made my way back to the kitchen with a grin on my face.
My kind of real Sunday breakfast laid before me; grits, eggs, biscuits, and bacon. Yum, I missed days like this at home before church. I don't however miss constantly serving this at the Waffle House.
"Good morning Little Bit," I say kissing his sticky cheek that smelled a lot like the blue stuff I had just showered off.
"Good morning Miss Lisha," his miniature voice sounds as he smiles goofily at me.
"Yay breakfast!" I childishly exclaim while sitting down next to him at the table.
"You coming with us to church," he asks innocently observing with his tiny big brain the dress I was wearing wasn't the shirt and jeans I had on last night.
"You know it Little Bit," I remark with a grin and wink.

*Sunday morning rain is falling
Oh yeah yeah yeah,
Fingers trace your every outline*
I sing along with my Sunday Station on Pandora as it plays the Maroon 5 song.
*She maybe be all I need
That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with m-*
"I still gotta shower too, yeah. Hurry up," I hear Kelly say while banging on the bathroom door.
"Alright, alright," I say to the door laughing to myself.
I check myself one last time in the bathroom mirror, grabbed my dirty laundry and could barely get half way out the door without Kelly trying to shove his way in.
"Geez, well good morning to you too," I say as he slams the door in my face, I laugh it off.
I walk to my room, dump my dirties in my hamper and head down stairs to the kitchen. The downstairs shower is also being used I notice while passing it.
"Yo baby bro," I greet Bryan. I sneak a sausage from the plate that mom is preparing.
"Consider that your plate now," she says noticing without looking at what I had done.
"Good morning ma," I salute her with a kiss on the cheek.
"Mmhm," she hums. "Breakfast is ready," mom places the last plate in front of me. "Where are your brothers?" She asked annoyed and already knowing the answer to her question. "After we finish eating we're headed out the door." She announces loudly in hopes that they hear her.
"Good morning," Carnell mumbles out as he walks into the kitchen and takes his seat at the table.
"Those two are always the last to the table," Bryan points out referring to Kelly and Dustin.
"That may be true but if they don't leave with us they better find themselves in church some kind of way."
Mom's statement left no room for argument, then again who at the table would defend Dustin and Kelly against mom.

Elisha was in high spirits when she had gotten home from being out with Lacey and Aristede Jr. all weekend.
"So how was your day?"
"Amazing," she says as she changes out of the clothes she'd left in. "We went to church today, it was uplifting," she continues now in pajamas.
"Oh really," I ask.
"Mm-hm!" She replies. "So how was your day?"
"Pretty chill, I guess."
"So what are you up to?" She asks now hovering over me.
"Bout to play a game," I say smirking her way knowing it was obvious what I was about to do seeing as I had a joystick in my hand and the game console was portraying a welcome screen on the living room television.
"Can I join?" She childishly inquires.
"Sure."
"Yay," she says hopping over the couch joining me.

We were having loads of fun playing a tag team combat game, partnered we dominated the game. Leo is obviously the reason we're high in the ranking but I was playing my role as a good partner.
We had such a good time. And as I overlook the events of this weekend. A good rehearsal, awesome day at the park, wonderful night with Lacey and Junior. Church was renewing and now gaming with my Leo and Jason cooking dinner.
Yes, these things are all I need.
