*Cameron's POV*

I fucking hate my father. I could have been in LA with my cousins not in this plane going to a city where I knew no one and had no interest in going to let alone live there.

"This move is for the best" he said "New York has many opportunities for us." he said "Many actresses got their start here." he said. Yeah, bullshit.

As soon as I got off of the plane and smelt the pollution I could already tell I was going to hate it here. LA is polluted but not as bad as New York. On the drive to our new apartment, WHICH IS CLOSE TO THE GOD DAMN PROJECTS, I was ready to die.

"Cameron, I will show you your new room, while Ryder gets the bags."

"Dad, I just wanna be clear, absolutely nothing you do will make me like this place."

"Cameron, Im trying here. I didnt wanna move you out here but you're only 16 and you are making this harder on all of this."

Well that just made me feel fucking fantastic. He walked passed me through the doorway and I followed. He led me down the hall into a room which i guess was my new bedrrom. I was kinda shocked at the sight because its was not at all what i expected. It was a decent sized room with all brand new furniture. I turned to my dad and hugged him.

"Thank you so much, its beautiful."

"I know this move was hard for you, so I wanted to make it up to you."

All of a sudden we heard a large bang "Can I get some help here?" Ryder called. "I'll call you when dinner is ready. I have to go help your weak brother."

I started to unpack my seemingly never ending amount of luggage. Unpacking made me realize how much I was going to miss home, but maybe starting my acting career in New York isn't such a bad thing after all.

The next day I woke up, jumped in the shower, brushed my teeth, and then brushed my long auburn hair. I left my hair natural with waves and decided to make my way into my into my room. I picked out a white tank top with black high waisted shorts. I grabbed my bag and Iphone and made my way to the kitchen where I saw my father and Ryder. "Goodmorning darling, how was your first night in the new house?" "It was okay, the glow in the dark stars on my ceiling helped a lot." "Fantastic. What are your plans for today?" "I think I'm gonna just take a walk, yanno to get to know the area a little." "Okay, be safe and take your cell. Be home by 8 for dinner." Ryder joined the conversation and stated "I think I am gonna do the same but I will drive instead because I can since I passed my test." he was smirking at me and I tuck up the middle finger and said "Shut up, I should have passed the test but that guy was a douchebag." "Cameron watch your language." "Whatever, I'm leaving. Bye."

I stepped out of my building and turned left. I walked for about 20 minutes and saw an ice cream shop. Since I'm a fatass i decided that it was necessary for me to get a cone. I walked in and ordered a sundae. Go big or go home. When I got the sundae I walked over to get napkins but I tripped over my own two feet and bumped into a girl around my age who was with a guy I assumed was her boyfriend because they were holding hands. "I'm so so sorry!" "No, it was my fault. I'm Nicole. You're new, I'm guessing because I have never seen you around here." "Yeah thats because I moved here just yesterday." "Cool, this is my boyfriend Josh. " "Hi Josh, Im Cameron. What school do you guys go to?" "Rydell High. Are you starting school tomorrow?" "Yeah, and I am also going to Rydell." "Oh cool, we should carpool." Josh added. "I would, but I kinda sorta failed my drivers test." "Oh well thats alright we will jst drive you. Give me your phone so we could exchange numbers and you could text me your address." "okay, cool." We exchanged numbers and finished our ice creams and decided to part ways. I walked out the the ice cream shop and passed a cafe and saw through the window a guy around my brother's age and a girl kissing. Oh how I hate PDA. After they pulled away I noticed my brother's car parked outside the cafe. I guess I know where he ended up. I continued walking and in the distance I saw a park. I walked up to it and it seemed abandoned. There was graffiti everywhere and not a kid insight. I looked around and saw a swingset and decided it had been too long since I was on a swing and hopped on one. Being on the swings reminded me of my mom and how she used to always play with me at the park near our old house. I miss her so much it hurts sometimes. It's not fair that she had to leave me when I was only 9 years old. I got up off the swings because I promised myself a few months ago that I will not be as weak as I was before. I wanted to be strong and have nothing bother me. I was about an hour away from home so I decided it was time to leave and start walking home. When I finally reached the apartment building it was 7:50. I walked up to my apartment and went inside. I found my dad in the kitchen just about done cooking dinner. He turned to me and said "How was your walk? Did you see Ryder at all when you were out?" "I saw his car outside of this cafe I walked past. But other than that no." "Okay well he should be home any second now." About two minutes later we heard the door open then slam shut. Ryder walked into the kitchen and opened up the fridge without saying anything to us. "Well hello to you too, Ryder." Dad said slightly annoyed. "When is dinner?" Ryder asked rudely ignoring Dad's attempt to say hello. "It should be ready in about 2 minutes, so you and your sister have to set the table." Ryder rolled his eyes and said "I'd rather not." and walked to his room. "Jeez, what's gotten into him?" My dad shrugged and said "I dunno but whatever it is has to stop."

I nodded in agreement and started setting the table by myself which I didn't really mind since it was an easy job. I dunno why Ryder made a big deal out of it. When I was done dad put the chicken cutlets in the middle of the table and called out for Ryder. Ryder came in and took his seat next to my dad. We started to take the chicken and put it on our individual plates. I thanked my dad for the food and started eating. Dinner was quiet for a few minutes then my dad suddenly asked us if were excited about starting school tomorrow. "Not really excited, more nervous than anything. I met two people at an ice cream shop today and they are gonna drive me in tomorrow so I guess it won't be that bad." As i said that it reminded me to text Nicole my address. I slipped my phone out of my pocket and sent her it and signed my name so she knew it was me. After dinner it was about 9 so I went to my room to go to sleep since I had to wake up at 5:30 am the next day. I set my alarm and quickly dozed off.
