Angels and Demons

Run. Thats the one thought that crossed my mind when they appeared. Soon as that one thought crossed my mind, my feet dashed in the opposite direction. As I ran the forest seemed to only grow darker, leaving me without any vision on where I was going. The trees became haunting and started to only scare me more than I already was. Behind me I could hear their foot prints, they were catching up to me. Hearing them gain speed on me only encouraged me to speed up. In the distance I could see the forest was coming to an end. I would have to find a way to escape them. Knowing that I had to keep the promise that I would find a place where I would be safe. Although in the back of my mind I knew I couldn't keep that promise because I knew that I would never be safe.

Reaching the end of the forest I had to make a choice be captured and be let free from the misery of always running. Or I could jump into the deep blue ocean that lay beneath. They were getting closer, all I could think of was the look on her face when she made me promise to find the other and protect them. Remembering that promiseI knew I had to keep running. I had to find the others and make sure we would all be ready to return with her when she came back to get us.

As they neared close, I dived into the cool ocean water. Falling I braced myself for the impacted of the water. Within seconds I hit the ice cold water with a loud splash hoping that they had not heard. Rising back up to the surface I drew close to where I had jumped from not only moments ago. Listening silently I could hear their voices above. Shrienking back in fear hoping the wouldn't find me I ducked under the water. Glancing up from under the water I could see their angry faces as they looked out across the water. Giving up they looked at one another and started yelling. I knew that I was safe and they hadn't found me, so I decided to hear what they where say. Bobbing up above to water I listened to their yells.

''Find her now search every inch of this forest and the water, we are not leaving here without her'' one of the guys said, once he had given the order all four of them separated into different directions.

Bobbing back under the water I swam fast towards the other side of the land. The only thing crossing my mind was that I had to get out of there alive and find the others before it was to late.
