~ Mia ~

Thank goodness it's Saturday!

No school for me but unfortunately, I have work.

It's not as bad as school and I would much rather be here but it's still a hassle.

Basically all I do is get shoes and lanes for people and occasionally, grab bowling balls that get stuck in the gutters.

Living the luxury life.

"Hey you ready to start the day?" Caitlyn asked.

Oh, did I forget to mention that Caitlyn works with me here?

There's multiple reasons:

1. Back in 10th grade, we were looking for jobs together to make a little cash and found this one

2. I have my license but I can't afford a car so she drives me here...

But either way, I love working with her.

We've been friends for as long as I can remember and sometimes we even finish each other's sentences so we have a very strong bond.

How awesome is it to work with your best friend?!

"Yeah I guess. Same thing over and over again though." I replied.

"But at least it pays." She countered.

At least it pays.

That's what I think.

I'm hoping that if I can save up enough money that I could buy One Direction tickets and finally get to see the boys who changed my life.

You know what I love about this job?

You don't have to dress up for it.

All I'm wearing are a pair of black skinny jeans, a neon green cami with a light, off the shoulder, white knit sweater.

To add to that, I've got a matching green beanie with my Bearpaw boots.

I love this job!

The doors officially open at 10:00a.m. and it's only 9:50a.m. so 10 minutes.

Just in case you couldn't do the math.

"Hey girls, I got Starbucks!" I heard Josh yell.

Josh is the manager here and extremely nice.

He's in his 30's but still looks like he's in his 20's.

He's married to his beautiful wife, Lisa and has a son, Tyler, who is 15 and a daughter, Anna, who is 10.

Such a lovely family.

He walked into the office carrying three cups in his hands.

"Caramel mocha frappe for Mia." He said passing me a cup.

I gladly accepted it and thanked him for it.

"And a mocha cappuccino for Caitlyn." He said passing another cup.

The last one was his, obviously.

"Thanks Josh." I said taking a sip of my drink.

I speak for both Caitlyn and I when I say that.

"I'm waiting for the day that they actually spell my name right." Caitlyn said.

She showed us her cup and in messy handwriting 'Kaitlin' was written on it.

We laughed as she pouted but then I said, "you just have a weird name. Plus, no one knows how to spell there."

Before I knew it, the clock read 10:26 and there was someone at the desk.
