Changing Me

Telling Andrew....

I sent Andrew a text after I submitted my letter of resignation. It said...."Hey I need to talk to you about something. Want to meet up somewhere later?" About a minute later he replied "Hey Sure When and Where? :) :) " I told him that it was up to him and that I just needed to talk to him. He told me that we could meet at the park at seven I said Okay and he said bye I said bye....

After that I got on Facebook and checked out my news feeds. Then I just kinda sat around reading stuff in my room. Until Lilian opened my door. She walked up to me and asked "can I sit with you?" i picked her up and put her on the window bench with me. She looked up at me and said "Mommy said your going to take care of me from now on while she is gone." I looked at her and said "yes I am so we can color and play dress up and play with dolls all the time if you want." She started to smile and said "I would like that."

I told her that I had to go get ready to meet Andrew and she asked "can I help?" I looked at her and said "Of course you can help." She wandered around my room opening and closing every single door and every single drawer. Until she came across one she stopped and looked in it for a while and then she finally pulled out a pair of dark skinny jeans and says "follow me." She led me to my closet and walked over to a pair on tan ankle boots and picks them up and says "here." I think she knows what she is doing cause so far the outfit is cute. She looks up at me and says "what is your favorite color?" I looked at her and said "Black" she looks around and saw a black sweater and a lime green tank top. She put it in my hands and said "here you get the rest." And then she left the room. 

After I got everything I needed I got dressed. Did my hair and makeup then it was time to leave. 

As I drove to the park I worried about what he would say about me quitting the internship or if he would even care at all. I guess I'll never know unless I tell him. 

As I pulled up to the park I saw him sitting on a bench all alone just staring off into outer space. As I got out of the car he walked over to me and said "Hey" I said "Hi do you want to talk in the car or out here?" He said that he was good outside and that I could say what I needed to say.

I stood there for a minute trying to adjust to the cold weather. And finally I said "I quit the internship." I guess ripping it off like a band aid works best. He stood there for a minute and said "Why? Did I do something?" I told him that he didn't do a thing and that I am staying home with Lilian for Shannon." He just looked everywhere but at me and said "Okay since we are telling each other important thing that is happening in our lives right now I have one thing. I'm falling in love with you."
