Okay guys before I start I just wanted to say that I try and have around 600- 1000 words in my chapters and I really don't do short ones unless they are a different perspective. Also I try and make as few mistakes as possible! Thanks so much for giving my story a chance and I hope you enjoy!

Spaze POV:
"Leader Aiden would like to speak with you, about your connection with the spirits." A man said from outside my door. I got up and opened it revealing the Head of Guards.
"Tell him I will be right there." I said my white dress-like nightgown shifted its position from me moving. The fire crackled behind me.
"Yes Spaze,"
"Call me Z" I growled then shut the door. I quickly changed into my usual attire. Black leggings, tall black boots that came to my knee, and a teal green long sleeved shirt. My hair was parted just right from the center of my forehead and most of my hair rested on my shoulder.
Being the only spiritual connector in existence I wasn't only in the market for 1 billion talons, but I also didn't show my spiritual markings on my arms. I only showed them to one person, Aiden.
I grabbed my sheathed sword and two sheathed knives. I placed the knives in my boots and the sheathe's around my shoulder and it rested on my waist.
I took the other leather strap and placed it around my waist and buckled it so it didn't move when I did.
I silently walked down the hall not making a sound. Servants scurried down the hall but paused and bowed low in respect then continued after I gave a nod. I honestly didn't like when they bowed.
As I made my way down the halls to Leader Aiden's office I saw a large window and stopped to look outside. Snow covered the ground completely other than the walkways. I sighed then continued to Aiden's office.
I knocked on the door of Aiden's office which was guarded by the Head of Guards and his right hand.
I nodded to them both and they did the same. I knocked on the door. After a second or two I received an answer,
"Come in, then lock the door" I heard the familiar voice of Aiden. I opened and locked the door as instructed. Aiden was sitting \ down in the chair on the other side of his desk. He had a pen and a large stack of written papers.
"You called sir?" I asked, my sea green eyes focused on him.
"Yes, I have a task for you." He replied setting the pen down. "You are the only one who can complete this mission. You have to find the Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn spirits and return them to the present. In the legends they only trusted one human and he betrayed them. You may have a hard time of convincing them who you truly are and have them merge with you but you must at least try"
My heart stopped. I was given a mission about spirits, FINALLY!!
" Please Spa-" I cut him off,
"Don't call my that, call me Z" I said for the second time today. He nodded his apologies.
"I know the Winter Queen will kill you on sight, but please Z. This might be our only chance of-" again I cut him off by raising my hand.
"You can stop convincing me, I accept your mission" I said, without hesitation. Even though a normal servant or one of Aiden's followers couldn't cut him off like I did, twice. He started to get annoyed but didn't say anything. Aiden looked as if he were going to hang me, which he didn't.
"Thank you, but I forgot to mention something. I can't help you track down or even help you on this mission." I nodded.
"That's perfectly fine," I had no idea what I was saying but I trusted my instincts more than anything.
He nodded, "You start immediately"
I got up and unlocked the door, again nodding to the guards outside of it. I made my way outside and to the stables where my horse Boomerang. He whined when he saw me.
"Hey boy, we have a mission" I told him. He reared playfully. I saddled him, his white coat perfectly corresponded with his black saddle and harness.
I mounted and led him out of the tall stables. The other horses neighed and whined as we past. I stopped Boomerang and demounted him. I opened the stable door to a beautiful brown mare with a black mane and tail. Her black eyes stared into my sea green ones.
I saddled her into a white saddle and reins. and led her to Boomerang.
Still holding onto the reins, I mounted Boomerang and put the reins on the horn of his saddle. Having two horses wasn't going to be easy, but I would have to put up with it.
After getting food, talons, and canteens of water I started to make my way to the city.
This mission wasn't going to be easy, who was I kidding? It's going to be extremely difficult but I will complete this mission. The fate of my world depended on it.
