Ηailey Lightwood

My father, Zeus, told me that my mother is a witch but didn't told me the whole story of it. I'm really disappointed at what my mother did. She left me and my father then pretended that we don't exist in her life. I feel sad and furious at the same time. So what if Zeus is a god and Pandora is a witch? That doesn't mean she needs to easily give up on us. I really can't accept the fact that she chose another man over my father. What my mom did is unforgivable. She never love and care about me. Everytime I'm using magic, my mother's voice would speak to my head but I eventually let it go as if nothing happened.

"Hailey." I heard Zeus said. "My dear can we talk?"

"Μπαμπά! Why does she need to leave us like that? I never met Pandora in my entire life! Doesn't she care about me?! Doesn't she loves us?!" I cried, hugging my father tightly. Last year, I left camp half-blood because a family wanted to adopt me and I gladly took the opportunity to be happy again. The Lightwood family treated me as their own relative. They love and care for me. "I hate her for doing that to us..."

"I'm also devastated of your mom's decision. My heart shattered into pieces when she left me for another man." Zeus sighed, sitting on an armchair. Me and father are kinda close; we talked about our experiences whenever we have time. The Lightwood family had a lot of secrets hiding from me though, sometimes I feel out of place whenever their talking about some other stuffs like the runes. Whatever that is, it's none of my business. It's their history, but I'll know it soon. When the right time comes. "We just have to accept the fact that she left us."

"I will never forgive her!" I cried, wiping off some tears in my face. Many families in this world have a perfect life, but for me there's no such thing as a perfect life and family. We are given two choices; between good and bad. Of course, it is expected that we should do the good things. Even though I'm only adopted by the Lightwood's, they love and accept me, unlike the other families.

Serena Scamander

"HEY SCAMANDER!" Draco called from afar.

"What do you want, buttbrain?" I asked as he stopped in front of me.

"Call me that one more time and–"

"Draco!" Jade, Draco Malfoy's little sister, and also, my best friend, scolded. "Back off of Serena!"

"She started it!" Jade only glared at him leaving him with a smug look on his face. I stuck my tongue out and Draco glared and then I heard jade clear her throat.

"I saw that." She said with seriousness.

"But–"

"Serena! Jade!" We turned our heads and saw Cody. He was running towards us, then slowed down to a jog when he was near us. He smiled at the two of us then looked at Draco with a stern. "Draco."

"Cody." Draco bitterly said back. These two really hate each other. I chuckled.

"You two are adorable. " I said smiling and both glared at me making me laugh even harder.

"You seriously don't know how hate works do you?" Draco stared at me with a questioning look.

"Uh...  I do know how hate works, I just simply think it is a pointless emotion." I said still with a smile on my face. "I'm all about the love you know. "

"You're all about the jokes." Jade corrected.  "I know you tell well for that. In fact, we all do."

"Shush! Don't tell them our secret!" I said jokingly and she rolled her eyes.

"Where's Ed?" Jade asked, putting her hand on her hip as she turned to Cody.

"Last time I checked, he was still at the Ravenclaw Common Room." Cody answered, mentioning about his twin brother. I still don't know how they're twin. I mean, Cody is in Slytherin because of his mischievous deeds while Edmund is in Ravenclaw for his intelligence. But anyways, these three are the top three heartthrobs here at school. Fourth, being Harry Potter. Eh. Why do I care? I'm a Hufflepuff. I speak the truth.

"Hey guys!" A familiar voice said in the background.  We all turned to see Edmund running towards us.

"Speak of the devil." I said as waved at him.

"I heard that." Edmund said, smirking. I just rolled my eyes playfully.
