I tucked down my head as I hid from Na- no it. My head was still pounding as I teared up, putting a hand over my quivering lips in hopes to strain my wails.
We were in the middle of the war and despite our attempts they proved to be needless. Once he gained consciousness he....he... I had to cover my mouth to not barf just thinking back on it.
By the blink of an eye he grew claws scales and burned my hand I had placed on him off. Ripping in half all those who surrounded him leaving me to scream in pain among the corpses as he left to the battle that would soon turn to a masquerade.
After ripping off a part of my shirt I wrapped my wrist together to stop the bleeding, tears rolling down my eyes as I barfed from looking at the gore left behind shivering in fear as I picked up Happy's head.
Trudging away my feet shook with each step, with each step I saw more and more corpses I had to clench my teeth not to barf again.
After what felt like hours I finally reached the guild, when I opened the door I balled again all our enemies loved ones and allies were dead.
Ripped in half as if a starving beast had feasted on them, I dropped happy's head as blood poured on my ankles. I smiled weakly in a glimmer of hope when I saw a strand of pink hair about to call out to him when I remembered what he had done.
So that brings me to where I am now... It stood to its feet sniffing the air as if noting my presence. Blood dripped down his bare back and claws, guts stained his bared fangs from his brother he had finished. My heart seems to be beating like a drum as he started humming a lullaby I do not know.
I squeezed myself tightly into a little ball as to hide myself from this unforgiving fate, tears rolling down even harder as I tweaked out one word.
"Nastu".
Its steps stopped for a second hearing this, a glint in his eyes as he collapsed loosing his scales claws and fangs looking at his bloody hands as he screamed scratching at his face "WHAT HAVE I DONE??"
I peaked out reluctant to but when I saw it was Natsu with trembling steps and tears non stop I walked over to him collapsing to my knees beside him I hugged his back and we both let out a good cry.
This was most certainly a unexpected END
