DRAMATIC CHAPTER AHEAD. Sorry for being MIA but i'm back now and I have this (short?) chapter for you but I'd say it's pretty dramatic and I think the next few shall be so brace yourselves!! Thanks for reading.
"Wow, the Hollywood sign is real!" Joven gasped as we strolled down the street in the burning sun. Everyone, being used to his comments by now, just sighed.
We kept walking and I found myself growing tired and snappy from the warmth. Anthony had noticed and pointed it out, causing me to get flustered.
I decided to sit in a café for a little while as the heat was too much, everyone else wanted to buy some touristy things. They were going to meet me back here in half an hour. There was a little magazine stand and I picked up a copy of Vogue and ordered a strong, black coffee to wake myself up. I also thanked god for fans.
About twenty five minutes or so had passed and I was finishing off my coffee.
"Is that Olivia?" I heard the familiar sound of Chuck; Dan's best friend and I gasped raising the magazine above my face.
"Yeah, but, dude.. don't..." I heard Dan plead with him, but I knew Chuck. He was strong-willed and that - I would admire, if he wasn't such an ass.
"Well, well, well..." He spoke, sitting onto the seat opposite mine. Dan strayed far away, refusing to look at me. My eyes begged him to look over.
I turned my attention back to the narcissist, "what do you want, Chuck." I almost spat.
"As lovely as ever I see." He smirked and I grimaced. He made me feel uneasy; the bad kind.
"I want you.. to feel bad for what you did." He stated, leaning closer towards me with an expression to this day I can still not pin point.
"I do, Chuck. Everyday." I begged quietly, fighting the tears.
"Dude..." Dan warned as Chuck got closer and closer towards me. He lay his hand on my hip and Dan huffed violently. I tried to wriggle away but he tightened his grip and that's when I watched Dans fist connect with Chuck's face, blowing him backwards.
You would expect someone who'd just been hit from there best friend to be in shock, or angry. But not Chuck, you see, he's past the point of emotions to witch he just can't feel anything. He became addicted to physical pain in middle school and joined a wrestling club but after too many trips to the hospital he was banned. I didn't understand him in middle school, or then, but I do now.
"Are you okay?" Dan asked me, looking me in the eye for the first time since...
"What the hell happened? Liv are you okay?" Anthony yelled and ran over to me. I hadn't realised but I was shaking. Everyone stood in shock at the scene of Chuck bleeding on the floor and Dan tensing up at the sight of Anthony and I. This was all too familiar.
"Tell her." Dan screamed as I grasped onto Anthony in fear.
"Tell her, Anthony, she deserves to know." He cried and I looked at him in pain and my heart broke like I know his was too.
"Tell me what?" I asked through tears, but Anthony just shook his head.
"If you're going to choose him, you should know...." He began to say but Anthony hit him in the face and ran. I, a silly 16 year old, was confused and ran after him, leaving Dan bleeding and heart broken on the floor. All alone."Tell me what." I demanded, snapping to the present and I watched as Dan, Anthony and Chuck's mouths all dropped open. Chuck's broke into a smirk being the cold-hearted jerk he was/is/was.
No one else but them knew what had happened, everyone else from our group stood in shock and confusion.
"Go." Anthony called to them and I didn't understand why. They were confused so instead of following his advice they sat down at a table.
"You tell her, she should hear it from you." Dan said through gritted teeth.
Anthony shook his head, their eyes had not moved from each other's and I could feel the tension.
"Anthony and I..."
OOH CLIFFHANGER BECAUSE I'M MEAN!! Leave a comment guessing what's going to happen, if you guess correctly I'll give you a shoutout in my next chapter! :)
