The Hybrids

Chapter 1

Liv's POV

Jess started freaking out. "You're with them? As in him?"

"The one and only SDM," I told her.

We stood there in silence for a few seconds, then I said, "So, Je-"

"Not J. It's Aphmau," she corrected me.

I rolled my purple eyes. "Okay then. Who are your friends?" I asked pointing behind her where eleven people stood.

Aph turned around and jumped slightly. "You guys are really quiet . . ." She observed.

She shook her head and turned back to me. "So, you remember high school?"

I eyed her. "Of course, how could I forget? That was the year dad . . . " I broke off and looked down.

I felt arms come around me. I looked up slightly to see it was Aph. It felt like mom's embrace . . .

Just then I remembered. "Aph, hold off on introductions for a sec. I'm gonna go find them."

She nodded and let go.

I went through the store trying to find them. I found them mooning over a girl on a shirt. Well, most of them. Sky, a brown haired boy who had sunglasses on and a black shirt with an amulet, was staring at the shirt dumbly. Jin, the smart one, a black haired, brown eyed boy with a purple jacket on was standing to the side looking at the rest with a weird look on his face. Ross, a dirty blonde blue eyed boy with a narwhal costume on, was staring at Sky. Barney, a black haired brown eyed boy with a dinosaur costume on was facepalming. Max, a ginger with brown eyes with a black-gray shirt and a Z necklace was standing with Jin.

I sighed, then facepalmed. "Okay guys, snap out of it!" I said and they all turned to look at me. "I found Jess."

They all looked at me with wide eyes.

"But she goes by Aphmau now, and she has friends with her, so no slip ups or she just has more explaining to do, okay?" I told them.

"Cans we gos sees her?" Barney asked.

"Sure," I said. "Follow me."

I led them over to where they were.

I smiled. "Hey Aph, here they are!"

Aph turned around and was greeted by a four person hug.

I nudged Max, who was just standing beside me.

He shook his head. "I don't do hugs." Was all he said.

I rolled my eyes and pushed him into the hug and they all fell over. I started laughing and fell over myself.

I hiccupped when I was done laughing and got up. "Okay, so . . . introductions?" I asked.

"Yeah, yeah. Guys get up!" Aph yelled at them.

They got up and started inspecting everyone around Aph. I facepalmed. "Guys . . ." I warned.

They stood up straight beside me and didn't move.

I rolled my eyes, but motioned Aph to start.

"Okay, so this is Katelyn," she gestured to a blue haired blue eyed girl with a brown long-sleeved shirt on. "This is Kawaii~Chan," she gestured to a pink haired brown eyed meif'wa with a cute pink dress on. "This is Nicole," she gestured to a red haired red eyed girl with a pink shirt on. "This is Lucinda," she gestured to a orange haired orange eyed girl with a witch's hat and a black dress on. "This is Cadenza," she gestured to a orange haired girl with blue eyes and a light green dress on. "This is Zane," she gestured to a black haired blue eyed boy with a mask covering his face and a black and gray striped sweatshirt. "This is Garroth," she gestured to a blonde haired blue eyed boy with a blue checkered flannel on. "This is Laurence," she gestured to a brown haired blue eyed boy with a green and white striped shirt. "This is Dante," she gestured to a blue haired blue eyed boy with a red sweater over a white shirt on. "This is Travis," she gestured to a white haired green eyed boy with a green sweater on. "And this is Aaron," that name rung a bell. Aph gestured to a black haired black eyed boy with a black button up shirt with his abs exposed.

I closed my eyes and went back to high school. Aaron's name rung a bell, but why-

My eyes went wide. Aaron was the one who bullied me in high school. Until it turned out Aph and Aaron were online friends. I was kind of paranoid so I jumped behind Max because he is the one that can get the most angry and peered over his shoulder.

Aph was confused for a second, then remembered. She facepalmed. She came over to me and whispered in my ear, "he's changed."

I eyed Aaron, then I realized she was right. Aph wouldn't be friends with him otherwise.

"Okay . . . " I said and walked in front of Sky. "Now who was that girl and why were you lookin' at her?" I asked him sassily.

"Oh, Sailor Moon? I was lookin' at her because she has better fashion sense than you," Sky replied.

"BURN!" Ross and Barney yelled.

"Wwwwwooooooowwww," I said. "Just because I don't wear make up, huh?"

I turned around. "This duffus over here is Sky, this guy in the narwhal costume is Ross, the guy in the purple sweater is Jin, the guy in the dinosaur costume is Barney, and the depressing guy over there with the Z necklace that gives me piggy back rides is Max."

"I don't give you piggy back rides!" Max yelled at me.

I smirked. "Oh no," he said.

I took a deep breath and said really fast, "You have any tacks, Max? Any . . . uh . . . packs of tacks so my racks of plaques won't have to stack, Max? My plaques can't stack to max if racks lacks tacks. Face the facts, Max. All other tacks slack. Only Max tacks racks MAX stack plaque racks. Okay? Do you have any tacks, Max?"

Max gave me the death glare. "You're dead, Liv."

I giggled, then speed out.

Max gained on me quickly and threw me over his shoulder. I couldn't quit giggling.

Max started walking back, but before he could make it to the group, I felt a pain in my head. Oh no. I'm turning to my other form.

I groaned and held my head. Max reached the group, I think. I could barely see through the spots in my eyes. I felt myself being put into someone else's arms. Then everything went black.

Oh! My! Gosh! What's going to happen to Liv? I mean me. Stay in the loop for more story. It won't take long . . .
