A Tale of Blue Pegasus

Joining the Guild

Finally, I was on my way to the Blue Pegasus guild. I was so full of excitement, I felt like I was going to pass out. My hands were sweating, I was shaking, my eyes felt like they were going to pop out. "I'M FINALLY GOING TO MEET THEM!!" I couldn't hold it in no longer. "Chill," Shalane said. "Sorry, I'm just so excited I'm finally going to meet Blue Pegasus," I said. Shalane smiled. Despite the sun's scorching heat, I was to focused on the thought of meeting Blue Pegasus, I didn't even feel the heat of the sun. As we walked along the scorching lonely desert, I finally noticed how hot it was. I put on the hood of my robe to protect my skin from the blazing sun, good thing I wore my shorts and tank top, or else I would be cooked alive out here. The desert seemed endless, but finally, a mountain with well grown vegetation was ahead. I stopped for a minute and smiled, "that's a good sign." I continued my journey into the forest, the mountain was steep, but that didn't stop us. Shalane stretched her wings out of her little cat body, and flew us to the top of the mountain. When we finally reached the top of the mountain, we stopped and rested at the top for a few minutes. I pulled out a small water canteen and took a nice cold sip of water. It's coolness slid down my throat, it made me feel more relaxed, it strengthened my power with the connection of the Earth. I looked at the view, I love heights! It was surrounded by nature, my kind of place. But then my nose picked up a scent, it was the scent of a human. "What is it?" Shalane asked. "I smell human scent." I said, trying to find out where it was coming from. There was more than one person, I looked in the direction of the scent, my heart stopped beating. I started crying tears of joy, and screamed inside my head, IS THAT REALLY HIM?!! I looked more closely, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, OH MY GOSH! IT'S REALLY HIM!! Ren Akatsuki, Eve Tilm, and HIBIKI LEYTIS!!! Such a coincidence we crossed paths, I will be seeing them in a little bit, hmm. Maybe I should tag along with them and ask if I can join their guild, I am pretty sure they won't mind me tagging along since I'm female. When I was in deep thought, the ground started to shake. All of a sudden a huge monster came popping out of the ground. It was huge! It seemed half the height of the mountain. It was a dark green monster with red glowing eyes, a long mossy tail, sharp teeth and claws. It let out a loud ROAR!!! The roar was so loud it shook the ground even more. "No, not another one!" Eve yelled. "I'm low on magic fuel!" Ren yelled. "I'll try my best to-" Eve started, but was cut off by the monster whacking his tail at him and Hibiki. Rage filled my eyes, my anger level went to max, "how dare that monster!" I said in anger. I grabbed a bush of leaves and chomped it down. I stared down, my body started glowing with magic power, my feelings of emotion made it even more powerful. I stood still a second, then I looked up at that monster and charged, throwing off my robe. "That monster should run when it still has the chance," Shalane chuckled. I ran down that mountain full speed, then I jumped into the air, took a deep breath and, "EARTH DRAGON ROOOAAAAR!!! I shot out mounds and mounds of the Earth's rocky ground. I knocked over that monster with no problem, it already showed defeat but, it messed with Blue Pegasus, it messed with me. "EARTH DRAGON WING ATTACK!" I shot it with deadly growth of plants and leaves flowing through the ground, and flying into the air. A blast erupted from the monster still laying there, uh-oh, I think I over did it, were going to be hit within the blast range! Guess I'll have to block it. Before the blast reached us, I put up a wind barrier to protect us. Just as predicted, the blast did not go through my wind barrier. The Earth's ground was flying through the air, and the mountain was shaking even more, I closed my eyes from the bright blast, then eventually, everything finally stilled. When I opened my eyes, the whole mountain collapsed! It's weird, because we were still floating in the air, and I only created a wind barrier to protect us from the blast. But then I realized, it was Ren using his air magic, he then brought us down to the ground. "Who are you?" Ren asked. Ren looked serious, but Eve and HIbiki looked like they were lost in a daze. "My name is Mikayla Terrene," I said. And I'm an Earth Dragon Slayer.
